  • 09.04.2024

The Cabal Online game requires a lot of computer resources in order to function properly. Its graphics are at a normal level, but you can only enjoy it if you have a good video card from the NVIDIA GeForce 6600GT category or stronger. You can find information about the video card if you use the context menu on the desktop in the “Settings” tab, or it is better to open the computer’s system settings and look in the “Display” tab.

In addition to the video card, the computer must have Direct X version 9.0c or higher. Windows XP does not support versions higher than 9.0, which means that for Windows 7 or Vista you will have to install more advanced versions of Direct X on your computer. You can download Direct X from the official website, where you can select the current version that suits your operating system.

The game works on Windows XP/ Vista/ 7/ 8 operating systems. The game will not work on older versions, and it cannot work correctly on new versions.

RAM is an important part of hardware. The game requires about 1 Gb. You will need about 3.5 GB of hard drive memory to install the application. You can find out whether there is enough memory on your hard drive using the context menu that is called up when you click on the local drive in the “My Computer” window.

An Intel Pentium 4 1.4 Ghz processor or a stronger one is capable of adequately processing data from the Cabal Online game and not being overloaded.

Ways to check system requirements

1. You can find out your computer’s system parameters using the Win+R key combination, after which you must enter dxdiag and press Enter.

2. On the desktop, right-click on the My Computer icon and select Properties in the window that opens.

If your computer starts to perform poorly while the application is running, you can reduce the settings to the minimum levels, which will increase performance at the expense of worse graphics. If this option does not fix the problem, then you can check out other similar games on the site that will meet the system requirements of your PC.

The specifics of PC gaming are such that before you begin, you must first familiarize yourself with its system requirements and relate it to the existing configuration.

To do this simple action, you do not need to know the exact technical characteristics of each model of processors, video cards, motherboards and other components of any personal computer. A simple comparison of the main lines of components will suffice.

For example, if a game's minimum system requirements include a processor of at least Intel Core i5, then you shouldn't expect it to run on i3. However, it is more difficult to compare processors from different manufacturers, which is why developers often indicate names from two main companies - Intel and AMD (processors), Nvidia and AMD (video cards).

Above are system requirements. It is worth noting that the division into minimum and recommended configurations is done for a reason. It is believed that meeting the minimum requirements is enough to start the game and complete it from beginning to end. However, to achieve the best performance, you usually have to lower the graphics settings.

Cabal Online is a free 3D multiplayer online game (MMORPG) developed by the Korean company ESTsoft. Different versions of the game are available for specific countries or regions. Although Cabal Online is a free-to-play game, it does have a Cash Shop where players can purchase upgrades and useful items with real money.

The game takes place in a mythical world known as Nevareth, which has been destroyed by an evil entity called CABAL. Of the survivors, Masters emerged, each of whom possessed Force Power. These masters taught the common people and Nevareth was restored. Years later, the Cabal plotted to reclaim power, and the game's characters took on the role of heroes who battled Cabal uprisings and plots.

Story

Cabal Online first appeared in South Korea in October 2005. A little later, in July 2006, after closed beta testing, the game was released in Europe, and in December 2006 it was announced that the game and all subsequent versions were released into free distribution. In North America, OGPlanet purchased a license for the game and launched open beta testing, which started on February 1, 2008. It was stated that a full release would likely arrive by the end of February. On February 28, 2008, the game officially launched in North America, and at the same time closed beta testing began in Southeast Asia.

Gameplay

Like many other MMORPGs, the gameplay centers around fighting monsters, completing quests, and crawling through dungeons, for which players receive experience points and Alz, the game's currency. Players can join groups of up to 7 people. Depending on their team contribution, players receive additional experience points (Party Bonus).

Characters are created on the server or in the game world, each of which receives a unique name, such as Mercury or Venus. Players from different servers cannot intersect with each other, but their characters and accounts can be transferred to another server. Be that as it may, all the content on the servers is the same, only the player base and the total number of items and money in the game differ. One account allows you to create more than six characters on each server for one account. Accordingly, servers are divided into “channels”, the number of which differs from version to version.

The game has a channel for beginners, where players cannot kill each other (Novice channel), a green channel, where players can only be killed in certain locations, and a white channel for those who like carte blanche to kill. There is a trade channel for trading and broadcasting between all channels. There is also a Premium channel where only VIP players play. A monthly subscription to the Premium Channel can be purchased in the Store. The premium channel provides all sorts of bonuses, such as a rate for experience, an increased chance of dropping unique items, and special teleport points. Finally, there is the War channel, where players can have a blast killing each other without any penalties.

GameWorld

The world of Cabal Online is divided into different zones - maps and dungeons. Beginning players have access to only three maps and a teleport (Warp Gate), with which you can move to any of these three locations. As the game progresses, the player gains access to more complex maps and dungeons. Each map is unique and differs in weather and climate conditions: desert, forests, icy wastelands and even futuristic cities. Moreover, each map is replete with its own unique types of monsters, shops and quests. Travel between maps is carried out using warp gates and the Navigator for premium users (Premium GPS Warp).

Classes

There are six character classes in the game. Each class has its own strategies, skill libraries, arsenal and starting location.

  • Warrior
  • Blader
  • Wizard
  • Force Blader
  • Force Shielder
  • Force Archer.

By gaining a level, players earn and distribute stat points between three attributes: Strength, Intelligence, Dexterity. These attributes affect the character's secondary parameters, which determine his strengths and weaknesses: attack, magic, defense, attack speed (accuracy) and defense speed (chance to evade an opponent's attack).

WarNations

Once a player has reached level 52 and completed the necessary quests to select a Nation, he can choose from two factions: Capella and Procyon. After choosing a Nation, a new event, Nations War, becomes available, which takes place several times a day and allows factions to fight each other, gaining war experience points, which can then be converted into other types of points. Depending on the character's level, there are two types of events - Tierra del Bruto and Tierra Gloriosa for higher levels. Players fight to capture strategic points, which are guarded by strong monsters, repelling the attack of enemies and ultimately the capture of the capital.

Each War of Nations lasts one hour and before the start of the battles, a location is open where players can plan strategies, purchase items for treatment and battles. Despite the fact that there may be a fairly large number of players in the location, only 30 for Tierra del Bruto and 100 for Tierra Glorios will be able to participate in the War. Entry to the latter costs 1 million Alz, which cannot be returned, but players receive special items to add to their equipment.

War of Nations is divided into level groups, from 52 to 60, from 61 to 94 for Tierra del Bruto and from 95 to 129, from 130 to 149, from 150 to 170 for Tierra Glorios.
