The easiest way to find a mansion is by using the command in the chat. First you need to enter the command / locate mansion, after which you will receive the coordinates to the nearest mansion.

I do not know if this is a bug or a feature, but for some reason it does not display the coordinate Y(height). Therefore, I recommend entering it in the range from 80 to 120 and I recommend doing this only in creative mode!

Next, you need to enter these coordinates into the command for teleportation (/ tp x y z). In my case, I entered: / tp -14840 100 3208.

Another way is to purchase a special treasure map from a resident cartographer.

Finding a resident cartographer is not an easy task. He looks like a resident librarian, but only cartographer can buy Forest Explorer Map v .

If you are still lucky enough to find it, then do not forget to take emeralds and some other items to purchase the card.

The second type of card is the card forest mansion... This is real big house ready to move in. There are rooms containing treasures in it, in a word, the object is extremely interesting for research, but they are very rare.

How do I use the treasure map?

At the beginning, the treasure map looks like a blueprint, in which only the outlines of land and water and the dungeon icon are visible. For an underwater fortress it is blue, for a forest mansion it is brown. On the edge of the map, you will see a circle, it shows your location. You need to go in the opposite direction until a circle appears on the surface of the map. Then it will boot up and look like regular card with a small scale. Now it remains to find the treasury and rummage in its chests. The treasure map is a good thing. However, if you are interested in shopping in Andorra, you will hardly find it on this map.

Where to get a treasure map in Minecraft

First you need to find a village with residents and find a cartographer in it. If there is no cartographer, you can multiply the inhabitants by building additional houses for them. The cartographer sells the map for emeralds and. After the treasury is found, you can find another village or move the cartographer to another location. Then he can sell a card containing a path to another dungeon.

In the villages, a librarian still lives in the same white attire, so it is easy to confuse them.

Tip: when going for treasures, do not forget to collect food and tools - the path can be very long.

Treasures in Minecraft most often appear near cavities underground, that is, below level 64. In some cases, they can appear above this level, for example, in the mountains. In the direction of the cavity-cave, next to which the treasury was generated, an entrance is automatically made. Most often, when generating treasures, the relief is not taken into account, so they can often be found in the wrong form - under lava or water, without a floor, half buried in sand or gravel, hidden under a layer of ice. All this can deprive a treasure trove of a valuable or a spawner (a block that creates monsters). Quite often, treasuries arise as part of other natural structures - canyons, fortresses and abandoned mines.

Once you've found a treasure, you don't need to destroy the spawner. It can be used in the future to gain experience. It is enough to put a torch on the block for creating monsters for it to stop "releasing them free".

The spawner of monsters acts as a kind of guardian, which is the treasury. It creates monsters endlessly until the player turns it off or destroys it. The spawner is always located clearly in the center of the treasury, and the resource chests are always located along the walls. The most common are treasures with zombie spawners, spider or skeleton creation blocks are half as common.

Search methods

If you have a desert nearby, explore it. A characteristic rectangular depression in the sand measuring five by five or seven by seven blocks most often indicates that there is a treasury below. Due to the free-flowing properties of the sand, after the generation of a specific section of the world, it simply collapsed downward, closing the treasury.

A sign of the proximity of the treasury can be the sounds made by several identical monsters, coming from one side. In this case, you can simply dig in that direction until you find the treasure.

A common graphical error that occurs when switching the view distance allows you to see lava, water and fire, including burning inside the spawner block. So you can quickly find the treasure by simply switching the viewing range in the graphics settings.

If you find a canyon, cave or abandoned mine, go around them around the perimeter. With a high degree of probability, you will find a treasury. If from one side a huge number of aggressive monsters constantly climb on you, most likely they appear in the treasury nearby. The easiest way to look for a spider spawner is that there is always a huge amount of cobwebs around it.

To begin with, you need to illuminate the very room of the treasury, making for this several holes in its walls in order to put torches in them. Increasing the lighting level will slow down the spawn rate of monsters, making it easier for you.
