The weight limit in Black Desert is a very important characteristic of a character that affects how much cargo you can carry in your inventory. - Global chat. Each message in the chat "Peace" consumes one energy point.

- The choice of the casual worker. You can get a random worker from the "Manager" NPC, but for each new worker you need to spend 5 energy points.
- Fishing. If you want to increase the chance of falling out of more expensive fish, you can throw a "harder" fishing rod or, more simply, spend a certain amount of energy points on this process.
The above are just the main actions for which you will spend energy points. The game has many different events that are worth spending the character's energy and free time on.
Energy point recovery
There are several ways to restore energy:
- Passive. Your character regains one energy point every 3 minutes for being in the game. If you are out of the game, then your character will restore 1 point of energy per hour.
- Using the bed. If you put a bed at home and lie on it, then the process of restoring energy points will accelerate 2 times, i.e. you will receive 2 points of energy for every 3 minutes.
- For completing assignments. By completing some tasks (usually daily and craft), you can get energy points as a reward for successfully completing the task.
Increased supply of energy points
When you create your first character, you automatically receive a supply of 10 energy points (0/10). At the same time, each new character does not have available energy points upon creation.
You can expand your supply of energy points by gaining knowledge about the world around you. All the knowledge that your characters received on the account are in the "Knowledge" window (hotkey H). For example, plate gear has inflated base def values, but it also weighs a lot.
In addition to the starting indicators of protection, the armor is endowed with special effects. They can apply to both one thing and a set. In the second case, for activation it is necessary to assemble a complete set or part of it.
There are many ways to get armor: buying from merchants, completing quests, dropping from mobs, exchanging for influence points. The game also has all the possibilities for crafting armor. Weapons, armor, and various tools for sharpening and collecting are created in the forge.
Weapon
Unlike armor, weapons have a class binding. So, it is necessary to equip with a bow and a dagger, - a sword and a shield, - a trinket and a blade, etc. This type of equipment has basic damage indicators, to which additional effects are also added.

- Recoverable strength. She is possessed by armor and weapons. Typically, the maximum is 100 units. You can repair a thing on which the entire resource has been used up at a blacksmith or using your own anvil, if available.
The durability of weapons and armor is reduced for several reasons. In pvp and pvp, your character takes damage and hits enemies. As a result, the equipment wears out. In addition, objects lose their entire maximum possible durability after an unsuccessful sharpening. And to restore equipment in such a situation, you will need an identical item.
Equipment sharpening
Enhancing armor and weapons by sharpening them with Black Stones is one of the main ways to increase defense and damage indicators. Armor can be safely sharpened up to +5, and weapons up to +7. Further actions give a random result, and in case of an unfortunate coincidence of circumstances, you spend not only sharpening, but also the durability of the object. We'll talk about how to improve armor and weapons with the maximum chance of success a little later. In the meantime, our main question is where to farm sharpening?
There are several options here. The longest and most unprofitable is their production in the processing shop. By collecting all possible resources (wood, stone, and others), you can get regular or sharpened pieces of solid black crystal. The former are suitable for cutting armor, the latter for weapons. To get a full-fledged sharpening, you need to crush two identical pieces. But it is unprofitable to use these resources in this way. After all, they may be needed to create a black stone reinforced (armor) and a black stone of enchantment (weapons).
Maximum equipment enchant is +15. However, for crafted items, this threshold increases to +20. To pierce weapons and armor above +15, the above items are just required. You can get them by heating two standard sharpenings and one piece of a crystal of the corresponding shape.
One of the most common options for getting enchants is to drop from mobs and bosses. It is also not forbidden to buy them at the auction, but the price will hardly please you.
It will also be useful to purchase the Seal of Travelers for points of influence, with the help of which your stock of sharpenings will be replenished daily. It can be exchanged with certain NPCs: the headman of Velia, the head of the city in Heidel and the warehouse clerk in Calpheon.
The seal is in your inventory, and you can click on it once a day to get the task. After completing it, you contact the NPC who sold you the seal and receive the corresponding reward. The seal can be handed over to its owner and you can get influence points back. You can say that you rent it for the required time.
Sharpeners can also be retrieved from equipment that you no longer need. To do this, you need to contact a gunsmith or blacksmith. When removed, the selected armor or weapon will be destroyed. If the item was sharpened to the safe limit (+5 for armor and +7 for weapons), then as a result you will receive, respectively, 5 or 7 Black stones. In case of unsafe sharpening, it is random. You can never tell how many Black Stones you end up with.
The higher the level of sharpening, the more likely it is to damage equipment when improving. For a successful action, you need to collect a certain number of failures (fails).
When you turn to the Black Spirit in order to sharpen this or that item, the interface displays indicators of the chance of safe amplification. To preserve the durability of expensive equipment, it would be most correct to fill the fails on cheaper armor or weapons. This is the most effective way to successfully sharpen, but it will take a lot of Black Stones.
A cheaper option is to fill up the fail with cheap jewelry. Since there is no safe point for it, the average cost of an unsuccessful upgrade will be about four times lower than for a point of armor and weapons.
If you decide to start crafting equipment, there is one more feature to keep in mind. The blue and gold things your workers can create are sharpened much harder than the green ones. But when you refinish a green weapon or armor in blue or gold, the sharpening does not fly off. Thus, it is much more profitable to raise the workpiece to the required level, and only then remake it.
