How to view the activation code in the game library

You can get to the ID directly from the game library by right-clicking on the game icon and reading the value in the "Game Properties" window. The product is activated by specifying the same parameter.

Receiving the code by mail

For some older games, Origin also sends an activation code to the buyer's email address. If nothing came to your mail, then either the code for the selected game is not sent to the mail at all, or your purchase did not go through - you can see this in the games library.

Getting a code through technical support

If a pirated disc was purchased, then technical support will not activate your game. In this case, you can make a claim to the seller of such a disc, or immediately contact Rospotrebnadzor on this matter.

If you bought a licensed version of the game on a disc, and there was no activation code, or you lost / damaged it, then technical support can activate your game upon request. Exception methods

A game purchased from Origin will in most cases be added directly to your game library. If you need a code for any reason, there are several ways to get it.

Find the code in the Origin client

Start the Origin client.
Go to library of games.
Right click on the game.
Click on "Game properties".

A window will open showing your product code. The code may have different names for different games: product code, serial code, or CD key.

Receive code by email

After purchasing the game, you may receive a confirmation email with a code.

Note: this only applies to older games from other publishers, and you may not receive the code by email. If there is no code in your purchase confirmation email, go to your game library and see if a game has been added.

I installed the game not via Origin, but I lost the code. What to do?

How to redeem a promo code

Using promo codes allows you to receive discounts on purchases on Origin. Activate the promo code during checkout.

If you have a suitable promo code:

Find the game you want to buy from the Origin store, origin.com, or the Origin client.

Restrictions on the use of promo codes may vary from game to game and from promotion to promotion.
