Dmc system requirements for pc. DmC: Devil May Cry - System Requirements

  • 16.01.2020

The specificity of PC gaming is such that before proceeding to the passage, you must first familiarize yourself with its system requirements and correlate with the existing configuration.

To do this simple action, you do not need to know the exact specifications each model of processors, video cards, motherboards and other component parts any personal computer. The usual comparison of the main lines of components will be enough.

For example, if the minimum system requirements for a game include a processor not lower than Intel Core i5, then you should not expect it to run on an i3. However, comparing processors from different manufacturers is more difficult, which is why developers often indicate names from two main companies - Intel and AMD (processors), Nvidia and AMD (video cards).

The above are system requirements. It should be noted that the division into minimum and recommended configurations is done for a reason. It is believed that the execution minimum requirements enough to launch the game and go through it from start to finish. However, to achieve the best performance, you usually need to lower the graphics settings.

Thus, thanks to an understanding of the basic principles of the classification of components, absolutely anyone can sensibly assess the possibility of launching and correct operation - and it is the system requirements that will help in this.

Not a fan of the series (I played only the 4th part, and DmC: Devil May Cry), but I can definitely recommend DMC 5 to all fans of slashers.
The menu contains a description of the plot of the series, so that newcomers will be aware of all the showdowns of the heroes (by the way, he, in this part, is pretty good, and the developers have hidden a couple of "aces in the sleeve").
The locations are corridor, but they look good (the RE Engine shows an excellent picture and performance).
Well, the most important thing in DMC5, of course, is her combat system... And everything is fine here!
There are 3 characters (Nero, Dante, and Novice V). And if with Dante everything is more or less clear (several fighting styles that affect the types of strikes), then Nero's fighting has changed since the 4th part; now we have "devil's whips" - attachments on the hand, each of which has its own effect. For V, the gameplay is quite simple - we have three "pets" (he himself hardly fights) - a couple of buttons are responsible for each of them; simple but effective.
The game has a developed pumping system and a large arsenal of weapons; each of the characters, over time, becomes a real killing machine. As a result, you can make effective combos.
Considering that the bestiary of enemies has a lot of creatures that want to tear us apart, and as many as 11 bosses, then all this, for sure, will come in handy.
In the end: a high-quality continuation of the series, and simply good game.

The continuation of the legendary series of slashers really came out as a continuation .. The canon story got its natural ending.

It's worth starting with the plot, and it is here, and quite good. Of course, it was not without pathos, but this is rather the specificity of all japanese gamesthan a disadvantage. It is interesting to follow the development of history. The developers made it clear that if the series continues, then Nero will become its main character.

The visual component of the game is also at the highest level - despite the beauty of the picture, it still does not slow down. All the goodies of the RE engine are present, and there is nothing more to say - the game definitely looks gorgeous.

In any slasher game, the most important thing is gameplay, and in DMC 5 everything is fine with it - various character mechanics, style points, complex combos. The game is revealed at high difficulty levels - everything game mechanics begin to work "to the fullest" - what is "boring, one-button" at low levels turns into "** ka, how is it possible to get through at all?!?"

There is music in the game, and quite good.

DMC 5 - A classic slasher game with a bunch of mechanics, chips, fan service and drive. For fans of the series - the golden cherry on the cake of Dante's story. For beginners - a good, beautiful hammering of two buttons. In general, it is definitely worth familiarizing with it for everyone.

The game is cool, like a slasher. The plot is quite interesting. I found two quite significant minuses - the gloom of the locations, especially in the second half, and the number of bosses could have been more or more elaborate. These disadvantages (especially the location) who would not speak greatly affect the perception of the game. Therefore, such is the case. I recommend the game not only to those who like to shred all living things, but also just to homers

It's all the same DMC, but with a cool grafon and with this gorgeous optimization, with such effects and graphics, the Japanese can not lag the willow, so they could take Ubaseoft as an example. Great replayability, according to donnat, I will say it does not affect in any way because you can go through everything without infusion from 1 time to the 2nd harder difficulty and is enough to pump more than half, as in all parts. Well, here for an amateur, I have not played slashers for a long time, and after so many years without this genre (darksiders 3 does not take into account this squalor) I missed it and everything went with a bang, but it is slower than 4 in 2013, but at level 4 I see no reason spread rot for it. The plot came to me, I'm not an ardent fan and did not even look for a connection with the previous parts, so I remember in 3 and 4 parts I compared in my head and the principle seems to be clear. For game 2 pritenzii this is a strange combo system, it is tied to timing, but the interval is very small, and in the heat of the battle it is often not clear what is happening and you stupidly do not have time and press everything in order to knock out the cherished Ss)) and 2 agree with the people music here she is the most deplorable of all parts, lacking drive. The rest of the game is 99% satisfied with the game and I'll give it 9.5 / 10, this is my opinion, and for the fans, damn it, it's enough to compare, the game is high-quality and cool, just get high when a good slasher comes out

Devil May Cry V is missing two things: good plot and good level design. Take DMC3 for example - there was a simple, but so memorable and chic plot that after it, what we have in DMCV looks like some kind of misunderstanding, written only for the sake of fan service. The same is about level design: in the new part it is just continuous corridors of "hellish guts", there are no riddles and confusion in the spirit of Castelvania, as it was in the first and third parts, there is not a trace here. It seems like the developers ran out of time or resources. If so, then Capcom should be given credit for doing the right thing and focusing on what matters most - the combat system. And the combat in the game turned out to be simply amazing - dynamic, as diverse as possible, brutal and incredibly stylish. It is for the sake of combat alone that I want to go through this game several times in a row - it is so good. It remains to be hoped that next game the series will not have to wait another 10 years, and already there, all other aspects will be brought to the same decent level.

“Everything that surrounds us is a deception. Every step and action is constantly monitored and controlled. There is no freedom, only a system in which everyone is just a puppet in the hands of demonic creatures. blacken our souls. Even that sparkling water, without which we can no longer imagine our life, is not good for us, simply turning into animals without brains. And news is simply created for zombie and decay. In general, everything that is in our daily diet - the machinations of devilism "
The developers from Ninja Theory didn't discover America for you? Is not it?

Change

Something clearly did not go according to plan, even as soon as the work on the slasher Devil May Cry 4 began to boil. Capcom even had thoughts to completely erase the main character Dante. Everyone knows that this is a rather arrogant person, but at the same time, a very fair demon hunter. However, they failed to do this, because crowds of fans protested, so the developers had nowhere to go and Dante was still left. This fact confirms the company's desire for great change. It is worth giving credit to Capcom, because the output was a complete restart of the entire series and significant changes.

The DmC: Devil May Cry review should start with the fact that the work on the Japanese series was provided by Ninja Theory, which gained popularity thanks to its as-yet unappreciated current generation, creations such as: Heavenly Sword and Enslaved: Odyssey to the West. Naturally, immigrants from Great Britain are not able to adequately work on the continuation of the game of the Land of the Rising Sun due to a different mentality. And very good, because the game ended up being completely non-Japanese.

Aside from the riot of conservative fans who weren't enthusiastic, Devil May Cry 4 was made completely modern european game... Now you will not see the glamorous anime blonde Dante walking through the vastness of the gothic world. Now this is a harsh underground, in which really vile demons live, who, in addition to everything, still swear terribly. And Dante himself looks more like a bad, overflowing with aggression rebel, who looks like a modern informal living in Great Britain. Also in the DmC: Devil May Cry review, it should be emphasized that this hero now completely rejects consumerism and spends almost all his time in nightclubs. So it is fully consistent with this harsh virtual reality.

Under the hood

The main idea of \u200b\u200bthe updated plot was nonconformism, which is very suitable for young people, without time constraints, because there will always be someone on whom all hopes will be directed in discovering the truth and giving freedom. And Dante became such a character.

However, everyone doubted this hero for a very long time. Like, how can this parody of an emo addict, constantly smoking and cursing, can save the world? But such an image of Dante was not realized, because after the debut video, the developers from Ninja Theory were afraid of such a public resonance about the appearance, which had long been popular with the protagonist. Therefore, at the exit we have the son of Sparda, who has already managed to build up muscle mass and gain a little weight, and in addition to everything, he quit smoking and cut his bangs.

Continuing the review of DmC: Devil May Cry, I must immediately say that Dante is a very superficial character here, even though the famous screenwriter Alex Garland worked on the script, in whose arsenal there is work on the book "The Beach" and the script "28 days later" ... Although he had not been such before, at least sometimes he threw clear obscene jokes.

Regarding the plot, it will not surprise you with unexpected turns that change the course of events. You can even say that sometimes this fact is upsetting. But on the other hand, it is completely adapted to the movie filmed in Hollywood. There is a sharp difference from Dante - the hero of the Japanese games and the new one. He still grieves the loss of his parents hard, and due to the fact that aggressive vile demons roam the streets, constantly attacking him, main character just hated everything around. Only after he meets Kat and Virgil - desperate fighters against the existing system, Dante will find himself in the struggle for the truth. Now he wants to give people freedom and open their eyes to the demonic world.

Also in the DmC: Devil May Cry review, it is simply necessary to write that carefully look at street signs and other attributes, because they mean something. There will even be one moment in the game when the whole story will be revealed with the help of street art.

Demonic creatures control all spheres of life of people from Limbo, which is represented by a parallel reality that only a select few can see. One of the demons who gives out a soda that makes people dumb, naive fish. And the second demon sat down in a high TV tower and every day from the TV screens washes the entire population's brain with false facts and propaganda. Above all this brotherhood stands the most powerful demon Mundus, who needs only one movement of his finger and he will wipe the city off the face of the earth.

Continuing the review of the game DmC: Devil May Cry, I need to say a few words about the looking glass - the city of Limbo. It’s not like that. After walking a little down the street, you can read the usual name of the store, which suddenly turns into "Spend your loot". The asphalt can rears up, houses fall apart - in general, everything rises upside down. Honestly, from such a constant change in the environment, you start to feel dizzy. Fans of the films "Inception" and " Dark City". As you move on to each subsequent level, you will see a new, well-thought-out and high-quality concept.

The art of killing

The changes also affected the style of battle itself, which cannot but rejoice, since by the fourth series it became somehow difficult to master all the skills, and switching between them while in flight is generally impossible. The fellows at Ninja Theory have developed a completely different combat system, which may even seem close to ideal. Everyone knows that Dante was a half-demon in previous episodes, and now he is a half-angel in combination. Also in the review of the DmC: Devil May Cry game, it must be said that now the main character can skillfully wield weapons, firing at creatures from both sides. On the left side of the gamepad is now the weapon of the angel, and on the right - the demonic one. On ordinary days, the hero walks with the well-known old sword "Rebel" and a firearm, but when you press a certain key, he has an angelic scythe in his hands, for example. You can use it to lift the enemy up, throw it, jump yourself and finish off with a hellish halberd. This is very convenient, but it remains to be seen how the developers will implement this on the keyboard in the PC version. So if you don't want to break all your fingers, I advise you to play on a gamepad.

It should be borne in mind that the angelic weapon is very fast, but at the same time it does not have enough power. Therefore, it is best used on enemy units. And use the demonic when you need to carry out a strong sick blow to the enemy, but not very quickly. Also in the review of the DmC: Devil May Cry game, it is worth noting that enemies can be of different colors, so angelic weapons will work against certain demons, and all the rest will have to be shot by demonic ones. So be prepared for opponents to appear in all sorts of variations, so be patient and tactical.

Also, in addition to these two types of weapons, there will be two harpoons at your disposal. With the help of one, Dante will be attracted to the enemy, and with the help of the second, the enemy will approach the main character. Due to such an extraordinary combat system, all battles are carried out at great speed. You will not need to land on the ground, except sometimes on the mountains of opponents.

And in order to destroy demons effectively, you need to turn inside out. For the most spectacular kills, the rating is increased. In the DmC: Devil May Cry review, it must be said that after a few hours of playing the game, you start to feel pleasant hand fatigue, but this does not burden, but on the contrary pleases. It's like digging a vegetable garden or working out for a few hours in the gym. Pleasantly.

Here there is an opportunity in one fell swoop to be in a cluster of opponents and how to wave a scythe. Then get away from the blow of one demon, pull the second towards you, simultaneously pushing the other with your foot, and then, with the help of a fiery fist, throw the third into the air, the fourth climb to the top of the head and use the harpoon to be attracted to the third, while he is still in flight. And this is not considered a particularly difficult battle yet!

Unfinished ideas

Devil May Cry has always had platformer elements, but in this part they are assigned almost half of the game. Quite often, you need to jump over something, use harpoons to catch or pull yourself up. But even more time is devoted to falling into the abyss, which is a flaw in the level design. Then suddenly the staircase breaks off, and you did not have time to react with lightning speed, then the camera will direct its eye in the wrong direction, and so on. There are a lot of secret rooms and other shelters, but it is very difficult to jump to them, so you constantly fall into the abyss. On the one hand, you understand that it is not the developers' fault here, but on the other hand, this is still their defect.

Continuing our review of DmC: Devil May Cry, let's talk about the oddities of using the developers' ideas. There are good ideas, but they are very rarely used. For example, during one of the first missions, you will find yourself in a room with surveillance cameras that look like demonic eyes. So, until you pull them out, you cannot go anywhere. However, this idea was used only once in the entire game. There is also another scene that the director did a great job on: chasing a car that had to be pulled out of various troubles, and Dante was all the time between Limbaugh and reality. Great idea, but very short implementation.

One gets the impression that Ninja Theory was afraid and did not fully believe in themselves. There are many original designs throughout the game and game situations, but they are not used to the maximum or run out very early.

At the end of the review of DmC: Devil May Cry, we can summarize that the game turned out to be stylistically successful with the original virtual reality, in which the combat system is very well thought out. But due to flaws in the design of the levels, banal bosses and completely unrealized ideas, it becomes insulting. However, with all this, these small flaws in general do not spoil the overall impression of this amazingly addictive game. It seems to me that it turned out to be a very successful restart of the series.
