But all seven days people walked, played, ate, had fun from morning to night, especially trying to "turn around" on Sunday, the last day of the celebration.

So, they rode on specially created, flooded hills, it was believed that the more, the further a person travels, the longer the flax will spoil in his land. The youth was swinging, the height of the flight also determined the success of the year. Men showed valiant prowess with fisticuffs, climbing ice pillars, tug-of-war.

Each ruler added his own traditions. So, Peter the Great began annually to arrange unprecedented masquerades with a procession of entire ships, sleighs, horses, buffoons, harlequins, and artists were attached to them. Elizaveta Petrovna brought rolling mountains into fashion, she herself went skiing with pleasure.

• bathhouse - people heartily looked after those around them with bath brooms, victory for the one who first has a "tool" turns out to be "bald".
