 Research of the current tank. Development takes place by researching and acquiring modules for the current tank.

 Researching tanks in the tank tree ... In this case, you discover new tanks in sequence, moving along the tank tree.

ADVANCED LEVEL: RESEARCH TANKS AND MODULES

Tank tree

The tank tree represents all the tanks of a given nation, from the most basic to the most difficult. Allows you to see the big picture of research by tracking the progress of the transition from one tank to another. Located on the research screen.

1. Click Research. A page with a tank tree will open.

2. Select the required nation by going to the USSR, Germany or USA tab. The tank tree for the selected nation will open. Tanks available for research are highlighted with the number of experience points per tank.

3. To view the characteristics of a specific tank, click

What would be the lists of tanks of all nations without prototype tanks.

We have collected for you all the development trees of each nation in World of Tanks and excluded from them prototype tanks and tank projects that exist only on paper. There are no tanks left in tech trees that were not embodied in metal. Here's what we got.

Chinese development tree

The Chinese tree mostly loses tier 8-10 tanks. It is interesting to note that the WZ-120 is just the production name for the Type-59. It's literally the same car.

Czech development tree

Goodbye Czech tree. Only tanks of 2 and 3 levels remain in it. Known by the Germans as the Pz 35 (t) and Pz 38 (t).

French development tree

The French tree has largely disappeared. Heavy tanks of this nation did not exist before and after World War II. The only exception was the TT B1. Tank destroyers ceased to exist, like most self-propelled guns.

German development tree

The German tree has lost many cars, almost the entire 10th level has disappeared. It is worth noting that many German tanks are prototypes of later versions of tanks. For example, VK 30.02M and Panther. Or VK 36.01H and Tiger.

American development tree

American ST and SPGs remained almost intact, but the TT and PT-SPG branches almost disappeared.

Japanese tree of development

Japan has lost almost all tanks above level 5. Not too surprising considering Japan was more concerned about its air and naval forces being an island nation.

The USSR lost a whole line of heavy tanks, almost all of its light tanks, another branch of tank destroyers, and 3 of the 4 branches of development. Almost all premium tanks also disappeared as prototypes, and the remaining vehicles are members of the Lend-Lease program.

British tree of development

The UK boasts the most complete tech tree in World of Tanks. Moreover, their medium tanks lose only levels 1 and 10. However, a whole branch of tank destroyers lost all vehicles after level 2. All

At the time of the last update, there are more than 300 combat vehicles in World of Tanks that belong to six playable factions. This includes both tanks and "art" (artillery weapons that hit a target at a great distance). In order for the player to gain access to new tanks, he must first go through the research process. After researching the tank, you can buy it.

To research tanks you need experience, and to buy you need in-game currency (credits). Both the player obtains in battles. There are exceptions - this is a "premium" technique, you do not need to research it, and in-game gold is spent on the acquisition, not credits. Research has certain rules: to start researching a combat vehicle, you need to research all the tanks in the branch that are in front of it. In addition to tanks, the player must research the main modules.

First you need to go to the "hangar" section. Now find the game menu, it is located below the button to start the fight "into battle". In the menu, find and select the "Research" tab.

After that, a panel with branches for pumping equipment will open in front of you. By clicking on any tank, a tree for studying modules will appear in front of you. Information about tanks and a module appears when you right-click on a specific module or tank. Read the list of detailed information about the tank, in the context menu click on "information about the vehicle". Here you can find all the tactical indicators, as well as the technical characteristics of the combat vehicle. On the right, you will see the module learning branch. How many experience units are needed to study a module or technique is indicated on the buttons themselves. If the button is dark, it means that you do not have enough experience for this research.

The hangar also has an investigate button. She is responsible for studying the modules of the tank, which is currently selected and is active. In the process of research, in addition to the usual experience, "free" is also spent. This experience is accrued in the amount of 5% of the main one (experience earned by the player from the beginning of battles on the account). When you have studied all the modules on a specific tank and researched the next tank, then the experience can be "poured" into the development of the tank's crew.

Experience points can also be converted into money. To pump the crew, click on the "transfer" button in the hangar. Now you will see that the "accelerate training" tab has appeared above the crew list. If you tick this tab, then all experience will be automatically spent on pumping tank soldiers.

Buying a tank

After you have studied all the modules from the desired tank, you can purchase it. Of course, if you have the funds to buy it. Click on the "Buy" tab. There is an important point: a new weapon will appear only if there is a free slot in your hangar. The number of these slots is limited. New slots can be purchased for in-game gold (you won't be able to buy for credits). But instead of buying a new slot, you can free the old one, although the tank that is in this place will disappear.

World of Tanks has over 300 tanks that belong to eight playable nations. To gain access to them, the player needs to research and purchase them.
