Due to the disadvantages of dynamically changing the size of the scope, most professionals disable this function, because without it, aiming can be much faster, more comfortable, and most importantly more effective.

A variety of scopes for CS 1.6

As practice has shown, as many as 40 percent of professional players use a large "crosshair" - (Large), and this despite the fact that the pros prefer to choose the Deagle as an additional weapon. To activate a large crosshair, you need to set the value "large" on the "cl_crosshair_size" parameter, that is, enter "cl_crosshair_size large" in the console.

In second place, in terms of popularity, is the small one - (Small). Statistics show that 35 percent of professional players use the small scope. To activate the small crosshair, you must mark the value "small" on the "cl_crosshair_size" parameter, that is, print "cl_crosshair_size small" in the console.

And the third most popular sight, Medium, is used by 25 percent of professional players. You can apply the middle sight by setting the "medium" parameter to the "cl_crosshair_size" value, or simply drive "cl_crosshair_size medium" into the console.
