1. The Witcher 3 HD Reworked Project
One of the best and largest modifications that changes the textures of most objects in the game: stones, rocks, thatched and tiled roofs of houses, books, moss, wooden and stone walls, metal grates and many other objects. Installing mods for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
Installing these modifications is quite simple, unlike the same GTA V. First you need to register on the nexusmods website. Next, you need to either use the nexusmods site modification installer, or download the archives with mods, create a mods folder in the game directory,
then copy the contents of the archives to the mods folder.
To do this, you need to go to my documents, find a folder with the name of our favorite game and create a text file in it called mods.settings.

In the world of Geralt, by default, there are dozens of control points for fast movement, but sometimes you have to cross several kilometers on a roach to get to the nearest one. Of course, it's great that the map isn't packed with a bunch of icons, like in some Ubisoft game, but at times you can regret it, especially if you can't remember where the healer is. This mod adds all possible icons to the map - from the nearest merchants to quest points, information about which is taken from your quest journal. If you think this is overkill, you can always hide unnecessary icons.
The chest with your things can be found at several points on the map, but the creators of this mod asked themselves the question: "Why not add more chests?" After installing the mod, 8 new points with chests will appear in the game, and 2 standard ones will be transferred to more convenient places. This is very convenient, especially if you have a mod for general realism installed, which takes into account the weight of the coins that Geralt keeps with him.
One of the best things The Witcher concludes is that you need to prepare thoroughly before each major contract. We create oil from ghosts, stock up on moon dust, meditate and, of course, sharpen a silver sword.
In this fashion, meditation becomes a more meaningful process. The user interface in The Witcher 3 looks pretty sophisticated, but disabling certain features will only make the game more difficult. Some of us (let's not point fingers) would love to shove the overly chatty Dandelion into an industrial meat grinder. But, since nothing like this has yet been invented in the Kingdoms of the North, it remains to be content with this mod, which turns off the video from Dandelion's diary.

From now on you do not have to worry about the fact that captured weapons, which can come in handy in very rare cases, take up too much space in your inventory. Just take it with you and don't bother with such trifles.
The game could be called the Wild Hunt, but hunting creatures and monsters is not the best way to make a living. If you are tired of killing a bunch of deer, you will get only a little meat, then this mod increases the chance that animals will leave behind a supply of meat or some ingredients.

We recently wrote about this mod: it is a complete reimagining of The Witcher's combat system. The main innovation is the removal of auto aim. Now Geralt no longer jumps from one enemy to another like a pinball, but hits only where you direct him. This means that you can prepare a blow and sharply go behind the enemy's back or break through his shield.
This is a major change, but it is far from the only one in TW3EE. It also adds new animations, new parrying methods, as well as new types of preparation for strikes at a distance. Each attack can affect your hero - there is a possibility that Geralt will get out of the next brawl with a broken arm or leg. These effects are directly reflected in the leveling, alchemy system and equipment of the hero.
If you've been through New Game + a few times already and have seen everything The Witcher 3 has to offer, then this improved version will be a great reason to re-install the game. It is advised to put the mod on a "clean" version of the game, after which you can safely install additional modifications.
Ghost Mode is no less ambitious than Enhanced Edition however the changes are more graceful here. He does not abandon the foundations of the original, but only polishes all the little things that required edits. For example, you can no longer find expensive plates on the shelves of a poor man, all the ingredients have weight (but you need fewer ingredients for alchemy), and simple equipment has become more powerful and useful. Typos in item descriptions have also been corrected, enemies have received new bonuses to armor and stamina limits, etc.
If you think that The Witcher 3 requires a complete overhaul of all systems, then the Enhanced Edition is waiting for you. If you think that the game just needs to be polished and balanced (which the modders have been doing for two years), then feel free to install Ghost Mode.
And, of course, put the mod on a "clean" version of the game, and only after that add the rest of the mods to your liking.

What will change after installing the modification?
In fact, a lot will change. First, let's be honest, most normal armor in the third Witcher - unremarkable retextures stretched over the same source. Against the background of the second part, where each armor can be called unique, they seem ... disappointing, or what? The author of the modification replaced more than 30 copies of the witcher's uniform: 20 armor, four pairs of gloves, five pairs of pants and six pairs of boots were "added" to the game. Moreover, all substitutes are fully compatible with New Game + and does not affect the appearance of non-playable characters. File modTW2Gear is the main one and is directly responsible for changing the appearance of the armor. File modTW2Gear_Icons is optional for installation, but it changes the icons of items in the inventory and helps to better navigate the equipment.
How do I install the mod? Possible problems
The contents of the archive must be moved to the MODS folder located in the root folder of the game. For owners of a licensed steam version of the game, it is on the way disk / Steam Library / steamapps / common / The Witcher 3... If you have never installed modifications before, you will have to create this folder yourself. The modification is friendly to any files that change the appearance of witch armor and the balance of ordinary armor, but I think it is obvious that installing or having other mods that affect the design of simple equipment is not welcome. Due to the lack of the author's ability to work out the interaction of Geralt's hair with armor, the witcher's long patches "fall through" into the textures of some specimens, but this is not fatal, believe me.

The current version is perfectly compatible with patch 2.1 (2.2 is being tested). Merging with TES (The Enhancement System) is no longer necessary, only with Rewards.
The mod is focused on giving the relic armor in the game a lot of vitality. So that the player does not want to part with them. To do this, I had to literally recreate them from scratch, add the appropriate attributes and the ability to pump. The scripts were not touched, so there will be no problems with installation and removal.
Manual installation:
1.Download and unzip.
2.Copy the mod folder to the Witcher 3 / Mods game directory.
3.If you want to install a Russian-language patch (unpack the archive, drop the file into the Witcher 3 / Mods folder).

Installation using Mod Manager:
1) Download one of the options, install the mod.
If you want to get a complete picture of fashion, I advise you to start new game, but in general it will work from any save.
I recommend using this mod in conjunction with. If the game does not start after installing the mod, an error pops up at startup.
1. Go along the path: The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt \ content \ content0 \ scripts \ game \ behavior_tree \ tasks \ hacks and delete the btHack.ws and btTaskMaintainSpeed.ws files there.
2. Install Witcher 3 MOD Scripting FIX: link. Just put the mod0000_0TelemetryKeyword folder in the Mods folder.
If you use a lot of mods, conflicts are possible. If they occur, then you can try using Script Merger- a tool for merging scripts, it can help solve the problem.
Introduced into the game are 2 absolutely unique sets of relic armor. You can get them by putting together the corresponding kit parts.
Developed Legendary armor, obtained from merging two Grandmaster sets. This armor becomes even more powerful. Too bad I had to use vanilla models. But there is a choice between medium and heavy options.
Changes affected all types of relic armor, including Vanilla, Ophir and Wedding Dress from the DLC " Hearts of Stone". A complete set implies the presence of the actual armor, pants, boots and gloves.
All types of relic armor can be upgraded according to the following scheme:
- Superior level
- Great
- Workshop
- Legendary (armor is indestructible).
As for Shiadal's armor, Thyssen's and Shadaal's armor: in order to get a blueprint for each subsequent improvement, the old set must be “scrapped”. And keep in mind, here every time you need new level player. All other blueprints are scattered around the world.
New / changed kits and an approximate scenario for their upgrade:
Ophir Armor and Wedding Dress - Joanna's initial set, further processing is needed (Ophir Crossbow and Sword included).
Shiadal's Armor is a quest reward; to receive blueprints, give it for processing.
Thyssen Armor - quest reward, rework.
Armor of the Treacherous - Joanna's initial set or randomly with loot, blueprints for improvement only by looting.
Zirael - Joanna's starting set or randomly when looting, blueprints for improvements only by looting.
Shadaal (Great Sun Armor) - quest reward, rework.
All other armor in the basic version lies in chests under water, blueprints can be found by chance when searching one or another treasure chest.
