A regular deck of cards, consisting of 36 pieces, is suitable for playing Joker. Sixes of clubs and spades play the role of the Joker. You can also take two cards of the same name on which it will be drawn this character... With the Joker card (or 6 clubs, 6 spades), the participant can declare a move according to the suit he wants, use it as a trump card, tell everyone to put down high or low cards of such and such a suit.

The game consists of 4 rounds or, as they are called, "bullets". The first and third "bullets" include 8 rounds. First, the players receive one card each, in the second deal - 2, in the third - 3. In the eighth, respectively, 8.

The second and third "bullets" are also similar. In these two rounds, which consist of four games, 9 cards are always dealt.

To clearly know the number of points earned, you need to keep a record. This mission is entrusted to one of the participants in an interesting action. Usually four people play (but can be 2, 3 people). Damn. 4 columns are lined, each for a specific participant. At the top of the defined columns are the player's name.

Horizontally, 4 lines are also drawn to make 4 cells. Each refers to one and four "bullets". The first cell draws 8 graphs. Each one corresponds to a certain move. In the second - 4 lines. The third cell is identical to the first and consists of eight columns, and the fourth, like two drops of water, is similar to the second, it contains 4 columns.

Game progress

After the initial knowledge is obtained, drawn, you can start playing "Joker". First, the player who will move first is determined. To do this, you need to find an ace in the deck and put it in the center of the table. Now you need to shuffle the cards well, let the player to the right of the dealer remove part of the deck.

He begins to deal one card at a time with the person to his left, clockwise. As soon as someone gets an ace, he is declared the dealer and gives the players cards.

It is necessary to appoint a trump card. In rounds 1 and 3, everyone is dealt the required number of cards, the next one is turned upside down - this will be a trump card. If it is Joker, then the game is played without trump cards. In 2 and 4 "bullets" the dominant suit is determined differently. The person sitting to the left of the dealer appoints him on his first three cards.

Now everyone looks at their cards and in turn announces how many tricks he will take. If a person fulfilled his word, then points are recorded for him - 100 for one bribe, 150 for the second, etc. 50 points are added to each subsequent one. If 9 cards are dealt, the player announced that he will take 9 tricks and kept his word, then 900, not 500 points are written to him. Minus 200 points is given to the one who did not fulfill the promise and scored the least number of points.

If the player has taken the announced number of tricks in all hands, then bonus points are awarded to him. The one who scored the most points wins.

« Painted poker » has a lot of other names: "Georgian poker", "Odessa poker", "thrown poker", "trick poker", "children's poker", "joker". However, the most common name is “painted”. The very name "painted" comes from the fact that one of the players during the game keeps a record of rates and counting points. "Painted poker" appeared during the Soviet era and had nothing in common with classical poker, except for the presence of the word "poker" in the name, changed from the "joker" card used in the game. There is an opinion that the prototype of "painted poker" was the foreign game "up and down" (up and down). In fact, the game is rather a simplified hybrid of a thousand and a preference.

During the USSR "Painted poker" was very popular ... The game was massive: courtyard championships were held, the high authorities also did not hesitate to play "for fun" - for a pretty penny per stake. Gradually, interest in "painted poker" waned, and for several decades the game was completely undeservedly forgotten. In recent years, the popularity of "painted poker" has started to grow again. Fans with artistic talents devote their works to the game. Mikhail Arzhanov, a popular artist from Rostov-on-Don, is no exception. In 2005, he painted The Game of Painted Poker. For fans of electronic versions of the game, new programs are being created, online championships in the game of "painted poker" are held.

Rules of the game in "painted poker" are not particularly complex. They play "painted poker" or a deck of 36 cards (in this case, the joker is assigned simple card, usually a seven or six of spades), or a 54-card deck (52 cards plus 2 jokers). The number of players varies from two (which is of no interest at all) to ten. The optimal number is four to six people. Before the game, the order of the hands is discussed, the table is signed, as well as the mandatory conditions of the game: the use of a joker, the presence of a trump card, and so on. The table consists of a header column, where the order of the games is indicated, and a column for each player, which in turn is divided by the order and the total number of points scored. Below is an example of a four-player entry table when playing with a 36-card deck.

This is how the table for recording the results in scheduled poker looks like:

First dealer usually determined by a simple lot: each one in turn draws from the deck the cards whose card is higher - he deals. Then each one deals in the order of priority. On the first deal, each player is dealt one card, the second - two, and so on. Maximum amount cards (in our example - nine) are dealt as many times as there are players in the game. Then the number of cards when dealt is reduced by 1 card for each next deal. The main part of the game ends here, special games begin. The cards are dealt in a circle, starting with the player to the left of the dealer, the last card goes to the dealer. The rest of the deck is placed on the table, and a trump card is opened from above. In case of the joker falling out as a trump card, a game without trump cards is declared. After the deal, the process of ordering bribes begins, with the player sitting to the left of the dealer ordering bribes first. Each player has the right to order any number of tricks from one to the maximum number of cards in hand. You can also "pass", that is, refuse bribes. In this situation, the dealer is in a slightly unfavorable situation for himself - he is obliged to order such a number of bribes so that the amount of bribes ordered by him and other players does not equal the number of cards dealt to his hands. For example, in a four-player game and 6 cards are dealt, each player ordered 2 tricks. In this case, the dealer no longer has the right to pass, he must order at least 1 bribe. This requirement makes the game especially gambling, since in any delivery someone will take an extra bribe, and someone will not take their orders. Therefore, the rule is very rarely used in the game when the dealer has the right to order any number of bribes, despite the orders of other players.

After ordering bribes the game itself begins: the first player from the dealer lays out any card, the rest of the players must either beat it or discard an unnecessary card. In this case, players must put a card "in suit", if there is no such suit, then a trump card. If there are no trump cards, then any card is discarded. There is also a rule: you cannot trump if you have cards of a suitable suit. The precedence of cards in "painted poker" is traditional: the lowest card is a six (two when playing with a deck of 54 cards), the highest card is an ace. The player who wins the bribe enters next. Peering into your bribes is usually allowed, unless otherwise stated before the game.

Using the joker in the game gives its owner a number of advantages. First, the player can enter from the joker, stating: 1) "by the highest trump cards." In this case, all players must throw off their highest trump card, if there are no trump cards, any card. The joker takes the bribe; 2) “according to the highest spades (diamonds, clubs, hearts). In this case, the players are obliged to give out their highest cards of the required suit, if there is no specified suit, they must trump. In the case when both suit and trump card are absent, any card is discarded. A joker or a major trump card takes a bribe in such a situation - must be established before the start of the game; 3) "for the lowest card" - used if the player does not intend to take a bribe. The player who played the highest card or trump takes the bribe. Secondly, the owner of the joker can beat the trump card at any time by taking the bribe, or vice versa , throw off a card that he does not need, giving the joker for any card of any suit.Accordingly, the rule of playing by suit or trump does not apply to the joker. Since the presence of a joker puts its owner in an advantageous position compared to other players, sometimes the requirement of "senior trump cards" and “High cards” are allowed only on the first hand in the deal.

When the main part of the game ends, the equally interesting and sometimes more exciting "special" games begin. There are several types of special games, and each of them can be played either one at a time or around the whole circle according to the number of players:

1) Dark (surrender to the blind). It differs from the usual deal in that the players order bribes either before the deal or after, but without looking at their cards. Here, anyone is as lucky.

2) Gold ... The most pleasant surrender, since any bribe is considered a winning one, players need not order bribes for themselves.

3) Minuscule ... Antipode Golden. There is also no need to order bribes, there is a fine for each bribe. Points are deducted.

4) Capless cap ... It differs from the usual surrender only in the absence of a trump card. In a particularly advantageous position with a peakless cap, the player with the joker, who has the right to move, turns out to be.

5) Frontal ... It is used extremely rarely, usually at the end of a long game in order to defuse the situation. Each player is dealt cards, a trump card is shown. Without looking at his cards, the player shows it to the rest of the game (as an option, he sculpts cards on his forehead, hence the name). Not seeing their own card, but knowing the cards of others, the players order bribes.

Wins at "painted poker" the one who scores the most points. For regular deals, points are calculated as follows:

For each bribe taken in accordance with the order, the player receives 10 points (ordered 2 bribes, took 2 bribes - received 20 points);
- if there are more bribes than stated ("bust"), then the player receives only 1 point for each bribe (ordered 2 bribes, took 3 bribes - received 3 points);
- if the player did not order bribes (“passed”) and completed the “pass”, then he is awarded 5 points;
- if the player took less bribes than he ordered (“shortage”), then for each bribe he missed, he loses 10 points (ordered 2 bribes, took 1 bribe - penalty - 10 points). As you can see, "painted poker" is a game for bribes, but unlike preference, in it you need not only to try to take your own bribes, but also not to take unnecessary ones, in excess of the ordered ones.

With special games points count in double or triple size. In Lobova there is a special scoring procedure: for each bribe taken in accordance with the order, 50 points are awarded; for "shortfall" - a penalty of 50 points; “Passing” and “Overkill” are considered according to the rules of regular delivery.
In addition, you can define your own system of penalties before the game. For example, assigning a 50-point penalty to a player who looks like a card of the wrong suit.

There are also very specific types of "painted poker" ... They are rarely used, but they deserve to be learned. These are "Poker with circular trump cards" and "Georgian poker".

Circular Trump Poker... In this game, each run determines which suit will be the trump card in it. The suits are arranged in the following order: spades, clubs, diamonds, hearts, and the trump card in the entry will be the suit following the suit of the card from which the entry began. For example, if the first card in the entry is spades, then the trump card will be clubs. This game has one peculiarity: in the presence of a joker, the player can no longer declare "by the highest trump cards", he will have to indicate a specific suit. This type of "painted poker" is more unpredictable, but also more effective. There are practically no complaints in it that "the cards do not go". Several tricks can be taken in almost every hand.

"Georgian Poker" ... There are a number of distinctive features in this type of "painted poker", starting with the number of participants. In "Georgian poker" their number varies from four to six. The order of the cards is also very peculiar: when playing with four, a maximum of eight cards are dealt, when playing with six - six cards, after that nine cards are dealt four times. Then the number of cards in each deal is reduced to one, and again, four times, nine cards are dealt. The rules for using the joker in "Georgian poker" are no different from the usual "painted poker". Points are calculated according to its own system: for each bribe taken in accordance with the order, the player is awarded points according to the formula order * 50 + 50. If the player did not fulfill the order, that is, he took more or less bribes, he is awarded only 10 points for each bribe. If the player did not order bribes (“passed”) and completed the order, 50 points are added to him. Penalties are also present: the player is assigned a 50-point penalty for playing a card of an inappropriate suit during the deal (except for the joker, of course).

As you can see, "painted poker" - the game is simple, interesting and gambling ... It is very pleasant to spend time with friends with a glass of your favorite drink over a party or two in "painted poker". The cards are in your hands!

Joker is an old club game from the category of gambling... In the 20th century, after the ban on gambling (gambling) houses, it went underground, like many other games. Joker game is simple and accessible, based on luck, if you play fair, that is, without cheating .

Joker rules

For card game "joker" is used deck 52 cards plus 2 joker ... The number of players is not limited. The first banker the one who draws the highest card, further clockwise. Further:

1) Cash machine after shuffles and the shooting of the cards announces to the participants of the game: "Place your bets".

2) The players announce any rate or a pre-agreed ceiling for the rate. For example, the bet of each player in this round is not more than 10 rubles.

3) The banker starts the game. At the top of the deck, he reveals 14 cards one by one, does it slowly. Simultaneously with revealing each card, he randomly names it according to its value, but not arbitrarily, but strictly in order, starting with the joker, then ace, king, queen, and so on up to two.

4) The ATM who guessed at least one card wins all bets. For example, announces: "Queen", reveals the card, she turned out to be really a lady.

5) If the banker called the first card "joker" and guessed it, he receives double bets from all participants and continues to bank.

6) The ATM, who has not guessed any of the fourteen cards, pays all the participants their announced rates and hands over the cards for banking to the player on the left.

7) After each win, the banker must mix the cards well and give them to the player on the right for shooting.

A familiar deck for playing poker consists of 52 cards... This deck is played in the vast majority of poker disciplines. However, there is also an alternative for individual disciplines. He is called french deck, and it contains 54 cards.

Such a deck consists of 52 familiar cards, as well as two additional sheets. They depict a jester. Such cards are called jokers. Accordingly, those poker disciplines in which such a deck is used are called joker poker.

Joker can be observed in the game not only in special poker disciplines. This card can be used in other games that involve cards. Most often, the joker plays the role of a universal card that can replace a card of any denomination.

That is, for example, in the course of the distribution you managed to practically collect a combination, but one card is missing to complete it. In this case, the joker can act as this card, which you lack to complete the combination. At the same time, a joker can replace any card - of any denomination and suit.

In such games, a situation often arises when the player lacks a specific card, but at the last moment a joker appears, which will be the very lifeline that will draw out the entire combination and the game. The Joker, according to the rules of the game of poker, can be any card from Deuce to Ace. It all depends on the combination that you are trying to assemble.

According to the rules poker with joker cannot be called the usual form of poker. Rather, these games are specific varieties of card games. However, this does not prevent such disciplines from enjoying considerable popularity among players.

Such disciplines have emerged not so long ago, and most often they can be observed in various casinos. The most interesting and popular variations of poker with a joker are Joker poker , and American poker ... At the same time, the rules of the game here are not very different from the usual disciplines.

Casino poker rules

The most widespread and popular type of poker in which the "Joker" card can be used is the discipline of the same name - Joker Poker. As a game basis in terms of rules and other game nuances, here was taken Caribbean Poker ... So if you are familiar with this discipline, you can easily play Joker Poker.

To play Joker Poker, a standard deck of 52 cards is used, as well as one additional cardJoker... The rules of the game of Joker Poker assume that each of the participants must make a mandatory bet - ante... After such a bet has been made, the dealer deals each of the participants with 5 hole cards. He also lays down another card face up.

Following this, the game bidding process starts. Any of the participants in the game has a certain set of actions and capabilities. So, for example, players have the opportunity to place bets, compare them, skip their moves, or even fold cards altogether. After all the bets at the gaming table are equal and the bidding ends, the usual showdown process is carried out.

In a situation when the dealer is unable to collect any combination, the player will certainly receive a win, which will be equal to the volume of the ante - the mandatory bet at the beginning of the game.

If the dealer still manages to collect one of the combinations in his hands, then the process of comparing the strength of the combinations takes place. The victory in this hand will go to the one who was able to collect the stronger combination. That is, it will be either the dealer or one of the participants.

It is also necessary to note the curious moments that are available to players during the course of the auction. So, for example, any participant has the opportunity to buy or change their cards. However, these rules are not precise and may vary depending on the particular casino where the game takes place.

Joker Poker Rules imply the fact that you are not fighting with other participants at the table, but against the casino. It is for this reason that this poker format is sometimes referred to as "casino poker". If the participant wins, his total profit will be calculated according to a special table. Such pay tables can also vary significantly depending on the particular casino.

What is the role of the joker in such a discipline? It is necessary in order to form any combination. In this case, the joker can be used by both the participant and the dealer. For example, if a player has a pair of kings and a joker in his hands, he will be able to form a set in which the role of the third king will be played by the joker. Well, and then by analogy.

In those situations when the dealer and the player managed to collect the same combination within the same distribution, then there is a system for determining the winner. In this case, the victory will be celebrated by the one who did not use the joker in his combination. By the way, this is a mandatory rule for all poker disciplines in which the joker is used.

Club poker

Also, poker with a joker will gain quite considerable popularity in club game formats. In this kind of poker discipline, winning combinations will be analyzed depending on the suit. Here the joker will play the role of a card with no specific denomination. That is, the joker at any time can be used as any card to close the combination you need.

Club poker has its own game features... So, for example, this format of card games is designed on the condition that at least two players will take part here. The maximum number of participants at one gaming table is 8 people. Himself game process is divided into five stages.

During these stages, participants have the opportunity to trade and change their cards. At the same time, it is not necessary to change the cards at all. If you still decide to change cards, then their number for exchange is not limited by anything. Moreover, the player has the opportunity to exchange all his cards in one go, if so desired. Trades are held in the usual way.

Each round of trading works to ensure that the total game bank increases in its volumes. To some extent, the rules of joker poker in the club format are very similar to what we used to call the five-card club stud. In fact, these disciplines do not differ in anything, except for the presence of a joker in one of the types.

Features of the game of poker with the Joker

If you are trying your hand at poker disciplines with a joker, you should understand that you have much better chances of forming any combination. This gives both the player and the dealer much more chances of making a good combination. Consequently, an increase in the options for the formation of combinations increases the chances of a good profit.

The most winning combinations, which involve Jokerare straight and flush. However, often even the Joker will not save your hand. So, for example, your cards from Ten, Eight, Seven and Four will not be saved by any joker. Such hands are called empty because they do not bring any benefit.

The situation will be quite different when you have four cards, which are lined up in a row at their face value and a joker appears. Thus, your joker can complement an almost finished straight. The benefits of such opportunities for the joker are quite obvious.

However, there are also pitfalls. So, for example, one of your opponents could have made his own straight, which does not use the Joker. Or one of the rivals made a combination of a higher strength. That is, by itself, the Joker is not a guarantee of victory. And if two identical combinations are collected at the table, the one in which the joker was not used will win.

A similar rule is relevant for such strong combinations as Street Flush and Royal Flush... No "specialized" maps can be used to form them. Therefore, having collected such a combination with the Joker, you should not delude yourself, it will be considered as a regular flush.

J-poker

Not so long ago, a new poker discipline has appeared, which also uses the Joker card. This discipline is called J-poker , while the joker as such is simply not in the deck. A standard 52-card deck is used for the game, without any hint of a joker.

Where does this name come from? The fact is that in this type of poker one of the cards of the standard deck will act as a joker. This card is not fixed and will be different every time. There is a special board in front of the players on the table. As the cards are dealt, one of the players clicks on the scoreboard. Further, a special generator randomly determines the card that will act as a joker in this hand.

Poker with a joker is constructed in such a way that any of the cards here can act as a joker. By the way, in situations where the dealer's open card is the joker, he has a colossal advantage. Statistics similar games demonstrates that this situation may not happen so often (approximately every tenth rally).

In poker rooms you will not see the Joker in poker, but in casino games it is used. In addition, the Joker is used in some home poker games, for example in the game Stat poker. It's pretty interesting mapdifferent from the rest. It has no suit and denomination, however, it provides its owner with clear advantages over rivals!

Joker is found in a 54-card deck (52-card classic deck, plus two Jokers). If the game does not require its use, then Jokers are simply removed from the deck. However, in some games the rules do allow them to be applied.

Why do you need a Joker in poker?

For centuries, players have strived not only to improve card games so that all participants in the distribution are in an equal position, but also to make the game more interesting. They introduced innovations, including the Joker, which made some games more unpredictable and interesting. The Joker in poker was especially popular in casinos, whose owners sought to lure more players with innovations that would increase their winnings. Since the Joker increases the likelihood of making such rare combinations as Four of a kind and higher, games with this card began to attract more players.

What does Joker mean in poker?

The Joker itself is a card that usually depicts a jester or a clown, although there may be another image with the corresponding inscription. Usually one Joker in a deck is red and the other is black. Despite the difference in color, both cards are equivalent. Since the Joker has no denomination and no suit, he can play the role of any card needed to strengthen the hand. In the game of poker with the Joker, the rules govern how this card is used.

The joker acts as the card that the player needs to make the highest possible combination. For example, if a poker player has a straight draw in his hand, the Joker will act as the missing card to build a straight combination. It turns out that he completes his hand to the strongest, given the available set of cards, which makes the Joker in poker a universal card.

Joker poker hands

The rules of playing poker with the Joker also stipulate the determination of the seniority of the combinations made using this card. And here there are differences from the game of Hold'em! You need to know two key points of these rules in order to correctly determine the seniority of combinations:

  • Poker combinations with Joker win if the opponent's hand is lower according to the combination table. For example, a Flash with a Joker will beat a Street without a Joker, or vice versa, since he is older than him.
  • The Joker poker hand loses to similar hands, while the comparison by the Kicker and the High card is not made, as is the case with "clean" hands. For example, if two opponents collected a Flash and one of them used the Joker for this, the poker player with the Joker will lose, even if his hand has a high card, for example, Ace.

In games with the Joker, the strongest combination is not the Royal Flash, but Five identical cards, which are made up of Four of a kind and the Joker. For example - five Aces.

What games are played with the Joker?

Joker poker is also called stat poker. This game is completely identical to five-card poker, but is played on 54 or 53 cards - with one or two Jokers, as agreed between the players. This game is intellectual, as winning in it largely depends on the player's strategy, ability to read opponents and use bluffing techniques. Stat poker outnumbered Hold'em and Omaha in Russia at a time when poker rooms could legally operate across the country. In casinos, the Joker is sometimes used in modifications of Oasis poker and even in Black Jack.

Computer game poker 5-cards with Joker

At the time when they were allowed slot machines across the country, the game of 5-card poker with Joker was very popular in Ukraine, Russia and other CIS countries. True, this game is a gambling entertainment, and the winnings in it depended solely on the settings of the machine.

Today computer game 5-card poker with Joker is available on the Internet, in addition, it can be installed on a computer or phone. Also this game are offered by various online casinos. Of course, given that it is gambling, it is better to prefer Texas Hold'em or other types of poker that can be played in online rooms.

Joker poker can be gambling and sports. If you are going to play five card poker with friends, try using Jokers to make the game even more interesting. However, do not forget that the counting of outs will change dramatically. It will be necessary to take into account not only the fact that the deck will have universal
