All quests (or more precisely, tasks) can be viewed in a special menu by pressing the "O" key. They depend on the character and the level of his skills.
Tasks can be performed in parallel to each other.
You will not be able to select an "active task", the game will do it for you.
The first non-working quest that you will encounter is related to the extraction of gold from merchants. You can simply ignore it or simply turn off the corresponding indicator.
Unfortunately, you will come across many other not working tasks. Just mark somewhere that these quests should be completed in the future when the developers fix them.

How to get resources - the most efficient ways

Resources include barrels, which are usually found in cities and contain apples or gold coins. You can get their contents with your bare hands.

Level 0 resources:

Grass, flowers and shrubs can be picked with bare hands.
You will need magic shards, straw, wood, stone and twine to craft your first tools.

Level 1 resources:

Use the ax on the cobblestones to extract stone.
Use the ax in the trees to get apples and wood.
Use the staff with the thief of magic on objects other than grass and bushes to obtain magic shards.
Use the pickaxe in the trees to extract twine.
Use your bare hands on the bushes to pick blueberries.
Use the sword on the grass and bushes to collect flowers.
Using a tamed boar or iron scythe will increase the collection of some level 0 and 1 resources.
Using the scythe of the dark ghost, you can further increase the collection of some resources of 0 and 1 levels. This item is dropped by Grim Reapers that spawn near fallen meteorites.

Level 2 resources:

Use the pickaxe on cobblestones / ore deposits. It is unlikely that high-grade ores can be obtained from low-grade deposits.
Copper - is mined from copper deposits (brown stones with green stripes), found almost everywhere, but most often they can be found on mountains and hills.
Iron - Extracted from iron deposits (silvery-gray stalagmite rocks) commonly found on hilltops or along mountain paths.
Mithril - is mined from the mithril deposits (enlarged versions of iron deposits), which are usually located on the tops of the mountains. To get to them you will probably need a flying creature.
Dark Shards - mined from the fields dark shards(black stones) found in caves or ruins.
Light Shards - Obtained from light shard deposits (translucent blue crystals) that are found near special objects, for example, a small lake located near a red rift (located near a human spawn).

Level 3 resources:

Examine the bodies of killed creatures to find useful things.
Use the pickaxe or sword on the corpses of animals, characters or players to get meat.
Use an ax, sickle or scythe on dead animals to get fur.
Use a pickaxe or iron dagger on dead animals for bones and skins.

How do you get materials for farming, such as seeds?

Use an iron scythe (can be crafted from copper ore) on the bushes to get seeds. You can get a lot more resources if you use the scythe of the dark ghost.

Additional resources (generated resources)

In addition to the mined resources, the game also has crafted resources.

If you burn wood instead of straw, you will get charcoal... We advise you to perform all actions with fire using wood. As a result, you will be able to collect considerable reserves of coal.
Using a mortar and pestle, you can create Quartz Sand from Stone and Sulfur Powder from Sulfur Ore.
Later you will be able to grind dark and light stones as well.

Magical essences

First you need to create or access a magic workbench / altar.
Use bottles filled with magic shards to obtain magic essences.
Find Elemental Cores or use the Absorption Spell on the corpses of the Elementals.
Mix the essence with the core for an elemental essence.

With the help of a tamed boar, you can find mushrooms (white and yellow).
Red mushrooms can be found in swamps and lava zones.

How to get the best tools and armor quickly

If you want to get the best armor and tools for your character, then you need a workbench. Since this workstation is not part of a rented home and cannot be located in cities, the first thing you have to do is build yourself a home, let alone develop the appropriate skills.

However, there are more easy way... There are craft stations in every city. They mainly function as standard and magic workbenches, but they are divided into crafts. Therefore, if, for example, you need to create armor, then go to the armory (or to its analogue for other factions).

Take with you necessary resources and start crafting. Remember that you will still need the iron and copper ingots created in the smelter. We add that today in these stations it is impossible to repair your things for unknown reasons. Perhaps this will be fixed in the future.

City life: features

If you consider yourself a lone wolf or are one of those players who do not like PvP, but at the same time continue to play on PvP servers, then you should think about life in the city.

All major resources can be found in the city. You can just run in circles and collect useful materials.
There are barrels with apples and gold coins in the city.
There are no mobs in the city, unless some unique event takes place in it or one of the players decides to bring the monster with him.
Dead or unconscious people can be collected with the "G" key and used for evil purposes.
In the cities you can find merchants and sell them unnecessary things.
Merchants buy only what they show and only in a certain amount... In addition, they make transactions for one product strictly once a day, that is, if someone has already sold them timber before you, then you will have to wait a day before you can sell them a similar resource.
You can give money to merchants for development to increase their level and make them more supportive of you. In addition, high-level merchants are starting to sell more useful items (useful for chefs).
Donations also speed up the growth of cities, which increases the number of NPCs in them.
If you kill the merchant, he will not respawn the next day. In addition, no loot will drop from him. As a result, you will only complicate the life of your faction.
You can buy one of the horses near the stable. In this case, a saddle will immediately appear in your inventory.
During the sprint, horses can inflict damage, and even city guards. Therefore, we do not advise you to run quickly through the city streets.
If you attack the horses in the stable, they will run away, and then they will simply die. However, then they will be reborn.
You should not consider yourself completely safe in the city. If someone attacks you, the guards will not intervene.
If you attack the inhabitants of the city, they will either run away or start fighting with you. The guards are the only characters who always resist and in most cases win.
To rent real estate, you must be in a house (tribe). Then just go to the board next to the house you would like to live in and deposit a certain amount of gold. Thus, you rent it for a certain period of time.

Why not live in the city all the time?

Life in the city, of course, is good, but you should not be in it all the time (at least, if you have a high-level character).

The main cons:

It is impossible to grow mushrooms and engage in high-level crafting. You will be dependent on barter with other players or raids.
It is impossible to build a workbench, magic workbench and blacksmith forge.
It is difficult to keep tamed animals (there is simply not enough space).
It is impossible to build summoning portals, turrets, and so on.
Unable to build storage box. However, food can be placed in the feeders.

How to survive? Sleep is for wimps!

To survive in this world, you need to constantly monitor the scales of your current parameters, indicated in the lower right corner. The most important of these are hunger, thirst, and concentration.

The basic mechanics are pretty easy to learn:

Hunger, thirst and concentration decrease right during the game.
Whenever you use stamina and your character regains it, you lose thirst and hunger, that is, they become stronger.
Whenever you use mana and your character regains it, you lose focus.
Whenever you are too cold, your appetite will increase; too hot, your thirst will increase.
This means that the longer you run, attack, or cast spells, the more supplies you will need.

How to reduce hunger:

You just need to eat something.
If you want to restore, say, 100 units of hunger with berries, then you will have to eat about 70 units. Therefore, we advise you to better fry some meat.

How to reduce your thirst:

Find a body of water and plunge into it headlong.
Early on in the game you will be able to create Berry Jam (requires some herb and 45 berries). With it, you can fill your thirst and hunger. However, it deteriorates pretty quickly, so it's worth doing it only when necessary.
Later, you will learn how to create glass bottles that can be filled with water.

How to restore concentration:

Sleep or eat flowers.
You can sleep only in sleeping bags, a canopy or a bed, but situations often arise when none of these options are suitable. In this case, we can advise you to eat flowers. 100 units of concentration can be restored with 100 flowers. They can be collected from bushes or grass using a sword.
You can later buy concentration elixirs from vendors if you give them enough money to develop. You can also craft these potions yourself by opening the corresponding skill.

We add that your character does not disappear from the world after you leave the server, so it can be easily robbed. So try to find some safe spot before exiting the game.

How to protect your property

If you do not want to be robbed, then you should know the following information:

If you played ARK: Survival Evolved, then you will immediately figure out what's what, since there are few differences. Except that there are many times more bugs and errors.
There is no autonomous protection (except for printing at home).
Mobs that spawn near meteorites will immediately attack your turrets, spikes, or tamed animals if they are nearby. Therefore, we advise you not to build structures near meteorites.
Doors, gates and windows cannot be opened by other players (except for members of the same tribe).
Due to a bug, some players can still enter your house.
All your structures will be destroyed in a few days if you don't use them.
Zones with newcomers (near cities) are often filled with low-level characters who can easily be robbed.
Structures can be damaged by any means and at any time. There is no defense like "stone buildings can only be destroyed with stone tools."
Spells such as telekinesis or shift allow you to get into someone else's house with a small probability.
If you have nothing to store and you don't have a seal yet, then you can always make your house look like it has already been broken into.
You can hide high-level houses in low-level buildings.
You can create hidden rooms or just empty rooms. A huge number of small rooms, in which there is nothing, will be a real test for looters.
Thorns or multiple walls can ward off thieves.

House logs

These logs (including alliance logs) are able to show you:

who did you kill;
who killed your pets;
which player demolished one or another of your buildings.

If you were raided and your character or pet died, then you will find out who attacked you. This will help you find the wrongdoers and repay them in kind.

However, the system will not show you who just stole some of your belongings or destroyed a couple of building elements. However, you can leave a beast with a low amount of health in your home and give it the task of protecting the house. In this case, the intruder will surely kill your creature and you will find out its name.

Input codes

Codes are installed on doors, chests, windows and other similar things. That is, it is impossible to open them without having the right combination on hand.

However, there is a big problem with codes now. The point is that it does not offer protection against players who enter the wrong combinations. As a result, players can easily find the correct number sequence using special scripts.

For this reason, today it makes no sense to set codes for gates, doors, and so on. True, you can set passwords for chests. The fact is that if a player gets into your house as a result of a bug and opens an uncoded chest, he will immediately teleport back. Otherwise, the thief will get stuck in your building.

House stamp

To create a house seal, you need to start your own tribe. Then you can craft it at the workbench. The seal creates a bubble shield with a radius of 4 bases. Thus, your house should not be larger than 9x9x9. The seal should be placed in the center of the building on the second floor.

Printing can be turned on and off. In addition, she needs a magical essence to work. For one real day, she spends about 36-40 essences. You can only get through this shield by declaring war on the owner of the house. To do this, you will first need to create a military flag and throw it directly into the building. Thus, not everyone will be able to break through this force field.
