Cheat codes for the game rise and fall. Guide and walkthrough for "Rise & Fall: Civilization at War"

  • 20.04.2020

It used to happen that Alexander, known as the Macedonian, would get up in the morning, and a crazy thought would come to his mind: “But why not conquer the world?” Let not everyone who knew then that he was not flat as a pancake. But at least as much as the grabbing hands can reach. And then again the Persians get hit on the head when they try to defend what they have gained through the labors of generations. I'm not talking about the "friendly" clashes between Cleopatra and Octavian. Come on, what is there, everyone has a chance to rule the world. After all, the game begins!

Meanwhile, we have another contender for the title of first place in the list of "strategies similar to Age of Empires." The initial bids for the throne were oh so impressive. Is what's left enough? For the throne - no, but for the rightful place nearby - yes. And it's time to start claiming the role of emperor.

Basics

The developers seem to think that modern strategies are overloaded with information. Therefore, this game suffers from pathological minimalism. Without playing in the tutorial, you can absolutely not understand what belongs to what and how to manage it all. So let's start with economics.

There are not so many resources, and here it was decided not to overload us with some confused food, firewood, tools and other rubbish. Of what is mined in the usual way, there is only wood and gold. Both are mined from sources that dry up over time (although 90 thousand gold from a different pile is not easy to get), therefore, their appropriation must be taken care of in advance and protected in every possible way from enemy encroachments. Mining is carried out in a well-known way, namely, with the help of peasants with picks and axes, who cut down trees and dig out gold.

It is important: there is another way to mine gold - urban centers. If peasants are swarming next to them, extracting something, then a thin stream of taxes will pour into your treasury.

The next "resource" - glory. The easiest way to get it is by killing enemies. It also comes from the construction of buildings (but there is already limited space). You can raise it by building statues to the glory of the heroes. Finally, you can simply scout the territory, and this will also contribute to the growth of fame. So the source of it can always be found. What is it for? There are also many places where this resource can be applied. First, leveling the hero. Secondly, the hiring of advisers, greatly improving the life of your state. Thirdly, the development and improvement of new troops. Therefore, you will have to win.

The last, and, as it were, not a resource at all - recruitment points. This is one of the truly original innovations. The fact is that there are free settlements in the game ( outpost), protected by local residents (similar points on the sea are not protected by anyone). After the destruction of the guard, the settlement passes under your control and adds one to the parameter. The benefit from it is huge - the number of fighters in new units directly depends on the number of points. So, initially you have only 3 points. And by spending money on a squad of archers, you will get three shooters. Having captured a couple of settlements, you will receive 5 fighters for the same money. And with 9 settlements, you will get four times more fighters than at the beginning, spending the same amount. Moreover, the captured settlements are slowly being restored and recreating the guards you cut down.

This is interesting: this method was invented by developers not out of the blue. It comes from the history of Rome. Once the Eternal City was inhabited by three tribes - Latins, Sabines and Etruscans, and therefore in the legion of those times there were 3 thousand people - a thousand from each tribe ...

wartime heroes

The characters here are pretty weird. After all, the stereotype has already fully developed: the hero must be a fighter much stronger than ordinary nameless soldiers, who gain experience for battles and use to strengthen himself, his beloved. Here there is all the same glory (glory), which goes into a common cauldron. True, the hero can also kiss him, but only with your highest permission. Nothing was given to him personally. But it depends on the level of the leader whether your race will develop in other directions. If the leader of the troops does not have level 4, then you can only dream of catapults, you will not be able to explore them. But with each new level, we will be able to hire several new advisers, research an improvement for standard troops, or open some new units.

Of course, the strength of the hero is not only in the fact that he is the engine of universal progress. It just has two states. In the first, the usual strategic one, this is just a strong warrior with a sword, just a little less mortal than everyone else. But everything changes when the magic button Q is pressed. Immediately after that, the hero becomes himself, and from now on you look over his shoulder, not trying to find a muscular figure in a crowd of soldiers. Now instead of the red bar of life, the blue bar of stamina (stamina) is used, which is consumed not only when injured, but also when hitting. And now you have to fight on your own, chopping with a sword or shooting from a bow. On the other hand, the hero enters the line of archers like a hot knife through butter, laying down several archers at once with one blow. You cannot choose the rest of the troops in this mode, but the hero still has the right to give them a command (attack or follow him). Maybe he can use a special ability by pressing the E key. Each hero has a manifestation of superpower only in a single copy, but the developers did not stint with this.

A little about the battle process itself. So, any action (or hitting the opponent's weapon) takes away precious stamina points. And without stamina, the hero can only stay in the usual strategic mode. And there he is killed quite easily (although a respawn will soon follow near one of the city centers). Replenishment of stamina in the campaign and just in the game against the computer is very different. In the first version, it occurs through amphorae with wine - how many they filled, so much endurance will be. One is used up - the other will “connect” immediately. IN regular game against a computer or a person, endurance is restored on its own, one has only to switch to strategic mode. You just need to first get the second level for the hero.

A sword (or a hammer) quite logically suggests close combat. But there can be several bows, for different occasions. In addition, when you press the right mouse button, the target is enlarged, the so-called sniper mode. In it, the enemy is seen better and it is much easier to hit him. Although in any case, you need to aim at the target so that the cross from just black begins to be highlighted in red. Then, by pressing the shot button in a timely manner, you will hit the enemy. Unless, of course, he ran somewhere. The choice between the sword and the bow is carried out with the keys 1 and 2 (or also 3, if there are several bows at once).

It is important: the target is larger in sniper mode, but the sight also chatters more. Therefore, when playing the campaign, slow down the speed of the game when shooting. And then all your arrows will fly into milk.

This is an interesting thing, but, in general, completely optional. The fact is that having acquired a hero in your ranks, you can spend the glory gained by overwhelming battles not only on strengthening troops and acquiring new levels for the hero, but also on hiring advisers who deal with civilian affairs. With each new level of the hero, several “fresh” helpers will be opened for hire, who, after a short “study”, will solve some problem once and for all. For example, they will double the health of the peasants. Or teach the troops to self-medicate.

In general, the idea is very original. Although it wouldn't hurt her to be richer. Yes, and there are a lot of passing advisers. And this somehow repels from their study and application. If only once to study all, choose the most useful and quickly open only them. But, of course, all of them will be discussed in the section on races. Moreover, each race has its own set of assistants, in addition, their number changes at each level.

This is interesting: advisors in the campaign are more expensive. But on the other hand, being once open, all the remaining missions will be with you further.

Building

The general tendencies of the game are consistent with the fact that most of the buildings differ only appearance, inside being exactly the same. And all sorts of superpowers and special properties are not studied here - even if the heroes have special abilities, no additional cunning devices can be given to the troops. That is, you can raise an army in a level easily and naturally (in the same building where you produce it), but you won’t be able to do something else. Therefore, we will consider most of the buildings in this section.

The very first at your disposal comes settlement. More precisely, you start even with the next building, but until you build it, you will not be able to acquire all the other buildings. Well this is just some kind of scientific regression! It costs only 250 wood and for an additional 350 it turns into city center (Town Center). Not fit for anything other than being a gathering place for resources. But the City Center already produces workers and receives taxes if they work nearby (that is, you can get additional gold from logging) and can be turned into two different buildings. First, city government (Government Tower), is obtained for 400 wood and 200 gold and increases the flow of gold in the form of taxes. Second, city defense (Town Defense), costs less, only 175 wood and 150 gold, and does not affect the influx of taxes in any way. But on the other hand, as soon as the enemy approaches your city, evil guards will crawl out of there and greatly spoil the life of the enemy if he has taken a not very large army with him.

Next on the list is barn (Granary). It only increases the morale of the troops and makes available 50% of maximum number troops. Such a miracle costs only 150 wood. For 450 wood it can be upgraded to market (Market), which, in addition to another increase in morale, will expand the ceiling for troops to 75%. And it will also cost you 650 wood to expand the market to Bazaar, which will further improve the morale of the troops and give you the opportunity to produce all 100% of the troops.

This is interesting: morale increases the characteristics of warriors and the speed of gathering supplies by workers. However, due to the lack of any numerical characteristics, it is incredibly difficult to notice the influence of morale on the situation.

Most military buildings do not change in any way. So, barracks cost 325 wood and produce all infantry. BUT stables- all cavalry, you only need to pay 275 wood for their construction. You can also build walls, gates to them, ladders for climbing and supporting towers for catapults. Not to mention archer turrets that only cost 200 gold and wood each.

Finally, the last standard building will be the statue. It costs 175 gold and wood each and regularly brings a little glory to our piggy bank. Considering that the second level of the hero changes a lot in the development of the settlement, and just at this stage it is extremely difficult to get glory in battle to increase it, the statue can be a way out. Just keep in mind that the statues are not eternal - in 6 minutes people will see enough of it and it will stop working. Therefore, the most greedy for glory can have entire forests of statues.

It is important: siege weapons are researched by peasants. The peasants build them. There are no special establishments just for them here.

Troops

The troops here are rather gray, and the “standard set” is the same for everyone. Well, almost the same. Archer - he is an archer even in Africa, even in Rome. The difference is only in their appearance, names, amount of life and attack. Other characteristics strive to repeat each other exactly. Therefore, creating supertables with a list of all the names of all fighters is a wrecking and stupid occupation. And the developers themselves cheated a little here - all even levels are similar to the previous fighters, like two drops of water, and the name differs only in the added word improved. Therefore, it makes no sense to go out of your way and try to tell something original about each of the 20 archers of the game. Just look at the description of the whole type and their differences by race in table number 1 . This will be enough.

Swordsman. Standard warrior of any race. He has no special abilities against regular troops, but he is good in that he has no disadvantages against them either. Such a wagon that does not win, but does not lose either. The only serious advantage is that it deals well with enemies running out of towers and city centers. He cuts them with joy and very quickly. Therefore, it makes up the bulk of any assault army.

It is important: all swordsmen have a serious weakness to all unique troops of each race. That is - if elephants were allowed into your battle formations, then you urgently need to come up with some kind of antidote. Otherwise, they'll drown.

Spearman. According to the established tradition, spearmen are excellent at dealing with cavalry. For this, they pay with vulnerability against archers. Spearmen look especially funny on ships, since they are of no use there (cavalry can only be transported on them, but not created).

Archer. It is already clear that the archer is ideal for exterminating enemy spearmen before setting his cavalry on the enemy. Again, the enemy cavalry tramples them cruelly and mercilessly. Therefore, archers must be covered in every possible way from her raids.

Cavalryman. And here is the same principle: the cavalry is dying on the spears of the enemy, like flies, but it easily destroys archers and siege weapons. If she had not yet gotten stuck on all the oncoming enemies, she would not have had a price. It was possible to break through to the key points of the enemy and cut out all those interfering with our existence.

Standard fighters can also include stormtroopers with ladders- a total of 25 wood and 50 gold, not counting 2 occupied places. But it hurts from them little sense for the money. If only they were cheaper...

There are actually no original tunings here. There is only the ability to set the troops in an attacking or defensive mood or send them to defend something. This is compensated by the fact that you can unite the army into large detachments (consisting of hundreds of fighters), provided that the troops in the detachment will be of only one type.

Under the condition that only standard troops are used, the tactics are very simple - the infantry protects the archers from the attacks of enemy troops, and they shoot enemy units. At the same time, someone is trying to break through to the enemy shooters, because they are very dirty, and they themselves are very frail. These maneuvers are hindered by the fact that the units "cling" to each other and in this case can break out of the battle only by retreating or destroying the enemy. Therefore, sometimes, in order to break through to some especially malicious catapult, it is necessary to send several detachments to engage in battle, and then some passage will be cleared for the main group of troops.

On the sea

But battles at sea are not at all like land battles. Yes, of course, missile boats and submarines were not in fashion at that time, but three types of ships and some entertainment, besides the banal shooting of a ship by a ship, is something.

So, we have three types of vessels: galleys, biremes And triremes. The difference between them lies mainly in how many people can be produced on board: on the galley - 20 people, on the bireme - 25, trireme - 35. Precisely to produce. For, having moored to the shore, a whole army can be pushed aboard, so much so that it will stand in three layers and hang from the sides. The main thing is to drive them at least onto the gangway, and then at the moment of departure, the remaining fighters will do an acrobatic stunt and find themselves on board the departing ship. In addition, triremes can be equipped with siege weapons when the hero reaches level 4 (for the Greeks and Romans - fifth). With them, they will be able to break enemy ships and shoot fortifications on the shore. The rest of the ships are floating barracks, producing all the standard types of infantry on board at familiar prices.

This is interesting: surprisingly, heavy triremes seem to swim faster than light galleys. Well, at least they unfold more slowly. But the ships different nations differ only in appearance. And even then not at all, but only between the pairs of Greece-Rome and Persia-Egypt.

To carry out some original actions that are not familiar to us from other games, it is necessary to buy special soldiers. So, drummer makes it possible to ram enemy ships. Moreover, it is not at all necessary to press the ram button - it will start automatically, as soon as you bring your ship to a convenient position in relation to the enemy ship. Namely - almost strictly perpendicular and in the "green" zone (that is, not too far and not too close. Then a strong blow is dealt, and the enemies roaming the deck go to freshen up.

This is interesting: the most interesting feature of local naval battles is that when a ship sinks, people from it fall into the water and begin to sink. If it happened not in the middle of the ocean, but near the shore and the enemy does not shoot your people with bows, immediately grab them and send them to swim to land. The soldiers will still come in handy.

2-3 sailors are desirable for boarding. First, they are killed by enemy archers. Secondly, the more of them, the faster the ropes will be pulled and you will moor to the enemy ship. And in their free time they are engaged in repairing the ship. Therefore, do not spare money on them if you are going to do boarding.

Races

Each of the races has a number of features (see. table number 2 ). By themselves, these features are nothing unusual. But, having examined the whole complex of them (from unique warriors to advisers), you can see what can be done with this or that race ... And what should not be done in any case ...

Greece

Greek warriors are far from the best. As a rule, they take 2-3 places in their respective categories. Even the phalanx - and that one does not shine here (for all its glory!). The only significant advantage is that Greek workers are cheaper than other parties and only cost 35 gold. A unique building for the Greeks was spartan school where the Spartans and teachers themselves study. For her, you just need to get the hero to the second level.

Heroes

The first hero of the Greeks was Alexander. Just an even hero without significant pros and cons. Unless the first include a bow with incendiary arrows, with which he incinerates enemies at once in whole crowds. Only now the endurance for such a shot requires a lot.

The second Greek hero was Achilles. He is slow, but he beats the enemy in hand-to-hand combat so that only fluff and feathers fly. As a shooter, he is so-so and can only zoom in once. But somewhere he learned to yell loudly, and his cry has such an encouraging effect on the surrounding warriors that they become invulnerable for a while. And the higher the level of Achilles, the longer his cry lasts.

Troops

The choice of unique among the Greeks begins with teachers (Pedagogue). It is produced at the Spartan school and exclusively by the piece. In general, he is strong in itself, but his strength is that the teacher strengthens all the troops nearby, forcing them to beat the enemy more painfully.

It is important: any unique troops must first be opened by spending some glory on them. And only then they can be produced.

Next come the Spartans. This is a powerful infantry, designed to fight with the infantry of the enemy. The Spartans have a heavy blow and a lot of life. But they are extremely slow, so they do not even keep up with enemy archers. and if the Persians mock them with the help of their high-speed horse archers ... Or someone will fire at them from catapults ...

The first siege weapon among the Greeks is ballista (Ballista). Quite a universal thing that is suitable for shelling large hordes of the enemy. You just need to securely cover it.

Second siege weapon - Fire Raiser. The machine is not fast and not too strong, extremely afraid of enemy archers and cavalry. But on the other hand, one hit from this monster easily incinerates entire enemy armies.

And here is the list of advisors. Because, no matter how useless they look, choosing only 2-3 of them to help you can significantly change the tactics of the game.

At the first level, you will have access to botanist(200, workers speed up wood harvesting), discoverer(200, increases fame for opening a map), speaker(250, increases morale), gunsmith(250, increases spearman's attack).

The second level will butcher(50, doubles workers' health) siege masters(200, increases the life of siege weapons) and tax inspector(300, doubles the tax inflow).

With the third level, you may have Cook(200, speeds up worker training), master shooter(300, increases range of arrows), usurer(400, workers generate income in the form of taxes constantly, and not just near the city center), philosopher(500, increases morale).

With the fourth level will open craftsman(400, doubles the fame from statues) pirate(300, increases ship speed) and surgeon(500, all warriors gain self-healing ability).

Finally, at the fifth level appear High priest(600, increases hero's stamina), historian(550, increases the glory that comes from losses in battle), oracle(800, increases morale) and senator(1000, increases the number of fighters in the produced unit).

As a result, advisors for the Greeks are not too expensive, and at each level there is at least one advisor that is worth buying to help. Especially useful are the surgeon and the priest, who get us literally for nothing. Well, of course, morale must not be forgotten to increase.

Rome

The Romans are the most powerful warriors. The archers, who are of little use for anything, spoil the matter a little. But the rest of the warriors are one and a half times stronger than the enemy ... True, this is compensated by the increased price of troops, and spearmen generally demand two "places" per person. But that's the price of power. Fortunately, there are usually no problems with money at the time of the strongest fights, so great opportunities open up for the Romans. In addition, the Romans have the highest income from taxes. That allows them to spend as much as they need on military operations. The Romans have only one unique building - Coliseum producing gladiators.

Heroes

Julius Caesar, the main hero of the Romans, masterfully wields a sword. In addition, he is a siege genius, and the catapults under his command shoot incredibly quickly and accurately (in this case, he directs them with his own hands). With a bow, he shoots worse and can only bring the target closer once.

Germanicus Caesar even stronger, but he is also the slowest hero in the game. He wields a war hammer, which easily demolishes elephants (if he has time for battle). He knows how to yell no worse than Achilles, but with his cries he affects the enemy, causing him to panic and forcing him to flee from the battlefield.

Troops

I would say that the unique troops of the Romans, as opposed to their powerful standard ones, are quite perverted. The first to demonstrate this gladiators. These are rather frail troops that are produced in the coliseum. But they are produced completely free of charge and constantly. Only the total number of buildings affects the speed - the more there are, the less it is.

Next on the agenda are centurions. These are quite powerful and beautiful fighters. Of course, not rivals to the Spartans, but much faster than them. They are excellent at fighting against enemy infantry, but not very fond of archers. They say that they strike at the area, but I can’t understand how they do it. They scream deafeningly, right? Compared to the same Spartans, they are insanely expensive. Therefore, when fighting the Greeks, I would completely abandon them.

FROM ballistas we already know each other, but palintones, Roman stone throwers, hit with a wide fan of small stones, causing damage to many at once. Although small. Well, why the infantry? Let him finish!

The first level of the Romans starts with praetorian(100, reduces sword training time) Pied Piper(250, increases morale) and wood merchant(200, speeds up the harvesting of wood by workers).

At the second level, we will be able to hire architect(200, increases life of buildings) helmsman(200, increases ship life) and tax inspector(350, doubles the amount of gold from taxes).

The third level will open Farmer Gong(500, increases morale), marshal(500, twice as many soldiers spawn in defensive structures), midwife(300, two workers or sailors train for the price of one) and tribune(350, soldiers can advance through forests).

With the fourth level will become available geologist(350, increases gold mining speed), gladiator(400, increases hero's attack power) and historian(450, increases fame gain from killing and dying friendly troops).

The fifth level gives only ambassador(700, every minute you get gold) and cesspool(800, increased morale).

Roman advisers are even cheaper than Greek ones, however, and they are much less useful. Here, I don’t even know what to advise so that it brings victory, except for boosters of morale. Apparently, this is the retribution for the strength of conventional troops.

Persia

Persians are rather weak warriors. But it pays off cheaply. By the way, in contrast to the Romans, they have the strongest archers in the game. In addition, their workers extract wood at an increased speed. They cost, as elsewhere, 40 gold. The Persians also know how to assign troops to the detachment of "immortals". There can only be one such unit at a time. What is the use of it - even the manual for the game cannot sensibly explain. In a subjective view, they fight a little harder than ordinary, mortal counterparts. Of the unique buildings, one can note Temple, replacing the barn, shooting range And stable for Assyrian archers.

Heroes

Sargon II- The most powerful shooter of the game. In addition, he is the owner of a bow that shoots several arrows at once. Although in hand-to-hand combat, he fights pretty well. But, like Cleopatra, he doesn't have the strongest build, so he can be easily knocked down by an opponent if Sargon has to contact the crowd.

Nebuchadnezzar- The fastest archer of the game. And the higher his experience, the faster he can shoot. And for him this is critical - after all, his endurance is very low. In general, the Persians are surprised by the lack of special abilities. Why would they?

Troops

But with unique troops, the Persians have complete and absolute order. I would say this is the best set in the game.

Going first in order Assyrian archers. They, like gladiators, are automatically produced in their respective stables. But their number is 8 per stable, and the production speed does not depend on the number of buildings. In a word - nothing special, but free.

Next on the list are war chariots. Or rather, a chariot. It is produced in a single copy and fights by cutting enemy infantry with blades on wheels. Does it quickly and efficiently. And in the presence of one of the advisers, it generally turns into a vampire.

war elephants they can not only stomp and use the enhanced stomp effect, but also carry archers on their backs. Initially, only two, but no one forbids you to pay money and put two more archers on your back (or replace the fallen ones if the enemy shot better at the archers than at the elephant). A useful thing and almost indispensable in the household.

Ram only good for use against walls and gates. But on the other hand, if the enemy does not have siege weapons, he will cope with this task best of all. And here catapult Persians is quite interesting - she has an ability that deals additional fire damage (usually to buildings). You only need to spend 75 units of catapult energy (usually she has 100 of them).

At the first level, they come to the Persians a carpenter(200, uses less gold and wood to build), dentist(250, increased morale) and forester(200, workers cut wood faster).

The second level brings mason(100, increases tower life) negotiator(400, halving the cost of all advisors), saddler(300, increases cavalry attack power) and city clerk(200, construction of settlements is now free).

The third level opens astrologer(500, increases morale), undertaker(350, the death of your warriors brings you gold), scout(250, workers can walk through the forest) and trainer(600, increases the speed of all your people).

With the fourth level are available courtesan(400, workers become free), diplomat(700, detachments periodically come to the city center to help), elephant tamer(350, increases the effect of panic from elephants and makes them able to walk through the forest), eunuch(500, all troops regenerate health when dealing damage to the enemy).

Finally, the fifth level opens royal armourer(600, increases hero's health), fortune teller(800, increases morale) and stock manager(800, troops train twice as fast).

But the Persians have much more useful advisers. One eunuch is worth something! How do you like vampire chariots? And after the call of the negotiator, the most expensive adviser will cost only 400 units of fame. Of course, even after such discounts, many advisers turn out to be only conditionally useful, but those that are needed should be dealt with immediately. I take, I take everything!

Egypt

Standard Egyptian troops are distinguished by some cunning in the form of the fact that, with not the highest indicators of "life", the attack numbers are at the level of leaders. These are the cunning Egyptians. But that's not all - they have the strongest buildings and the most nimble collectors of gold. Well, it is worth mentioning such an interesting thing as healers. After all, although the Persians and Greeks have a kind of treatment, only the Egyptians can treat directly. From the original buildings - again Temple instead of a barn and shooting range for archers.

Heroes

Cleopatra is fast and deadly. If the enemies do not surround her with a ring, then with her quick breakthrough she will cut many. But she is quite weak and does not tolerate the blows inflicted on her. This is one of the best archers in the game, and even in strategic mode, she fights with a bow. Can use a prayer to lure some nearby enemies to his side.

This is interesting: in Cleopatra's campaign, the choice of bows is as many as three types. And in a single game, they were limited to only one type ...

Ramses is armed with a powerful fighting staff, with which he stacks enemies in close combat. But the same staff greatly slows down his movement. When shooting from a bow, Ramses can only magnify the image once. But it has an ability that allows you to heal all nearby troops. Fast and efficient.

Troops

So, the gallery of Egyptian warriors opens doctors. They are produced according to the usual technology, that is, the same number of doctors comes out of the barracks as any other warriors. But a dozen or one and a half healers can drastically change the balance of power on the battlefield, unless the enemy uses catapults - you can’t heal here.

elephants immediately compared with the analogue from the Persians. And what? Egyptian elephants immediately know how to break trees, but they do not carry archers on their backs. So - just trample on the enemy. It won't be enough.

AND - chariots. Only not chopping, but shooting. Moreover, they are produced using general military technologies. And this means that by paying once, you can get both 10 and 12 chariots. Control points would have been captured in a timely manner. Moreover, 4 archers initially sit on each chariot, and if necessary, they can even be restored - for only 50 gold. But not everything is as good as it seems at first glance. Despite the fact that four archers cost only 3 places in the total limit, I did not notice a big contribution to the destruction of the enemy from them.

The ram is already known to us from the set of weapons of the Persians, but the same catapult somewhat worse in that it cannot deal fire damage. Is it worse though? This ability is not always used, but the catapult is cheaper.

Well, here is the last set of advisers, now from Egypt. open it up architect(175, building or upgrading any building will give you 3x the renown), brewer(250, workers can be converted to infantry), sculptor(250, increased morale).

At the second level appear historian(200, increased fame for killing foreign warriors), guardian(150, reduces spearman training time) slave(250, buildings are built and repaired without the participation of workers) and patrol(150, troops emerge from the ruined building).

The third level is presented marauder(250, gold is given for destroying an enemy building), dancer(500, increases morale) and finance minister(300, gold is mined at an increased rate).

The fourth level opens despot(700, cost reduction for all fighters), chariot builder(400, chariot archers start firing incendiary arrows) healer(500, healers can revive fallen warriors) priestess(500, increasing population limit).

The fifth level has dealer(1000, use wood instead of gold if necessary), musician(800, increases morale), a princess(600, increases hero's stamina), tanner(1200, increases the health of all troops).

As you can see, Egypt has a lot of value, mostly of a monetary nature. But the same princess is worth a lot, especially in the case of the frail Cleopatra. I will not list the names again - there are plenty to choose from.

Campaign

We have only two campaigns. As if historical. Although ... with such a story, it was quite possible to organize a battle between the Romans and Achilles. Why not?

Alexander

As it turned out, the invasion of Persia is revenge for the destroyed cities and villages of Greece. But revenge, so entirely. Eh, your Persia is no more...

Mission 1-1. Fall of a Dynasty

We start near the palace, break the amphora with wine and run to the wall. We stand there until the Persians bring up the catapults. Because until that time, enemy attacks will be reflected quite easily. We spend the hero's endurance only on troops with ladders and catapults - then a single amphora is enough. Moreover, reinforcements are constantly approaching us. If there is no endurance left for shooting catapults, we retreat to the second line of defense inside the city (semicircular platforms with narrow passages between them), the catapults will not finish there. In the end, we will wait for the arrival of the cavalry in the form of reinforcements and destroy the remaining Persians.

Mission 1-2. Fractured Alliances

It's time to choose an ally. There are two of them - Parmenion and Demetrius. But whoever you choose, the second will have to be destroyed. We bring Alexander to the chosen general and enter into an alliance with him. And you can immediately attack the second general, there will be enough troops. You won't be able to kill him, he will run away to the city.

From this moment we begin to search the territory. The fact is that there is very little gold on the map, and it will have to be mined from chests scattered on the map. Passing by the cliff to the second strong point, watch out for the cobblestones that the mercenaries will roll off the cliff. As a result, we create an army and take the city. At the end there will be final battle Alexander with the general opposing him.

Mission 1-3. Day of Reckoning

Now Alexander went to work as a simple robber. Namely, he went to capture the city of Pichan along with its treasury. We leave the troops given to us at the beginning to stand where they stand. The fact is that from the city they can organize a sortie and destroy our camp. Therefore, Alexander goes to the galley alone. In the same place we build a certain number of troops and capture the islands and strongholds. As a result, along with the increase in the units produced, we will be able to build a second camp and more troops.

Attacking the city head-on is a completely stupid idea and not worth considering. We sail sideways and land troops from the flank. You can cut out the entire first line of defense (getting more glory), or you can land right behind the second and destroy the city hero there. Treasures are ours, and great deeds await Alexander.

Mission 2-1. Eye of the Storm

And now, in a terrible storm, a battle with the Persian fleet awaits us. First you need to kill 100 Persians, otherwise the mission will not be counted. Therefore, we reduce the speed of the game to a minimum and shoot the Persians with a bow, as much as we can. If we can about 50, we will finish off the rest when the Persian ship decides to board us. Then several rams will follow. First we are Persians, then immediately Persians us. Then we swim ashore, destroy the Persians, who are trying to do the same, and face a choice. The Dauntless can go across the entire island and destroy a bunch of enemies at a huge risk to their lives. And the lazy ones can simply swim around the island on the left side and get everything to the same ship. There, finish off a few more Persians and board the ship.

Mission 2-2. The Arena

But ... Apparently, in the previous mission, Alexander was waiting for an ambush. Because he was captured and forced to fight in the arena as a gladiator.

In the first of 4 rounds, he will have to fight a bunch of opponents. Victory will be awarded when the last of the opponents who have entered the arena in this round is destroyed. It is advisable, while still easy, to destroy most of the towers with archers (archers on them are restored). In the second round, the cavalry will enter the scene. Here it is necessary to finish off the extra towers (if they are left from the last round), because there will simply be no time further. The third round will be opened by a pair of bishops. They are just very good to shoot with a bow from the tower. But, finishing this round, finish off the remaining towers. Because the Minotaur is not at all simple - first he shoots Alexander with a bow, and then he will chop him with an ax. When it comes to melee, do not stand still, constantly run backwards. Then you will not receive all the blows and live to the next amphora with stamina. After it, you will have to destroy the elephant. In the end, the elephant will go berserk and kick down the arena gates. We, following him, get out of the arena.

Mission 2-3. A Weapon of the Gods

Alexander begins his campaign for the bow of Hercules. You have a long and tedious mission with the passage of the map. Along the way, you will meet a lot of walls, which can most often be overcome in the following way - shoot the archers on the walls, put up a ladder, Alexander cross to the other side and pull the rope. The gate will open. And then we lead the fighters through them and to the next fortification. In the temple itself, we will fight with the hero and finally get a bow. Now you can burn the enemy with fire arrows.

Mission 2-4. The Great Walls

So, on the previous mission, Alexander acquired a part of the bow. And on this mission, he will complete his acquisition, only for this you need to kill all the Persians in the town in which you landed. Having cleared this town of the enemy, build a wall in the west in order to fight off the still advancing Persians. When their attacks subside, you need to swim to the city in the south, where you will have to build another wall. And again, we expect an attack. There will be few catapults in both cases, and archers do quite well with stairs and towers.

Mission 3-1. Pursuit

Now, in pursuit of the Persian generals, Alexander begins with an army of crippled soldiers. In this mission, he will have a long journey through the islands. Therefore, in the beginning, he will only have the opportunity to capture ships and strongholds, moving from one island to another. True, on the very first island there will be an opportunity to create a base and extract resources. But it's best to build everything on ships. As a result, you will sail to the last island, where the desired generals live in the fortress. The walls are destroyed from the ballistas from the neighboring island (you will definitely be given them).

Mission 3-2. blockade

It turns out that the Persians decided to invade Greece. And now they are preparing a huge landing ship. Of course, Alexander decided to stop this disgrace. Breaking through to the giant ship from the very beginning will not work. First you need to destroy the fortifications covering it. If you are lucky enough to bring the hero to level 5 for this mission, then very well. But if this did not happen (and level 5 is required in order to install siege weapons on ships), then capture enemy triremes - even the fourth level is enough for them. We create our own assault fleet, destroy the defense, after which there will be a battle on the ship for Alexander himself. There you only need to kill the captain, who can be distinguished by a powerful trident. Don't try to kill everyone on board - it still won't work.

Mission 3-3. Siege of the Halicarnassus

Alexander continues his invasion of Persia. This time he needs to destroy the Persian government building. The difficulty here is that there are well-fortified walls on the way to it. True, we are immediately prompted a way out of the situation, namely, a secret passage. Of course, the secret passage itself is well guarded, so you will have to build ships, stuff them with archers and send them to destroy defenses. But, of course, it will be easier than if you fought on the walls of the central passage. There are no unusual features here.

Final act: The Lions of Greece. Part one

And here is the assault on the Persian city. To begin with, we destroy the ballistae on the walls with Alexander and shoot the archers while the ladder carriers run to the walls. But for now, there is not much stamina, so first wait until your fighters climb the wall. Our task is to guard the flamethrower until it burns down the palace. So we just clear the way for him by destroying the Persians. It is especially important to destroy two elephants (the bow of Hercules will help). Further on the shore is a galley, from which the Persians are constantly climbing. But for this we have an ability that is called by the X button. We just run up to the doomed ship and press the key. After that, you need to quickly shoot the claws on the walls, which can grab your flamethrower. In the end, he still crawls to the palace and burns it out. The bow of Hercules works very well (if you have a large crowd of the enemy in front of you).

Final act: The Lions of Greece. Part two

Memnon's destruction is only one step away. We were given a small army and offered to storm the fortress and destroy the leader of the Persians. We clean the coast with the army, build a small fleet and also clean the sea. Beware - there are claw walls off the coast of the enemy that can capture your ships. But the sea must be cleared out because amphoras with wine lie on the islands, so necessary for Alexander. Moreover, these amphoras must be saved for the last battle and try to spend only ordinary troops. As a result, you will find yourself in front of a passage through which only Alexander can pass. Switch to first person mode and go kill Memnon. That's all. Is the Persian Empire defeated?

Cleopatra

The treacherous Romans, led by Octavian, have invaded Egypt and are about to conquer it. The unfortunate ruler of the country, Cleopatra, will have to defend her country with the help of the Roman Mark Antony. Of course, it is forgotten that Octavian did not come for Egypt, but for the soul of Mark Antony mentioned above. Yes, and Cleopatra in real history in heroic deeds is somehow not noticed. Yes, who thinks? Elephants - on the attack!

Mission 1-1. Invasion of Egypt

The flamethrower burns!

The onslaught of the Romans is so strong that at the very beginning Cleopatra will have to flee from her capital.

In general, the mission to start too much cruel. The first task will be to protect 3 shooting ranges until the ship comes for Cleopatra. It is generally unrealistic to protect the first shooting range. The enemy is coming from several sides at once, so we beat off the first attack and withdraw the troops to where Cleopatra stood. The Romans slow down a bit and won't follow her right away. If you're lucky, you'll even kill the enemy leader. Then just withdraw the troops to the second shooting range. There we supplement the troops with archers and place them on the walls near the gate. They have to hold out until the enemy pulls the catapults. And as you know, there are no tricks against scrap - the walls will be demolished along with the archers, and the enemy will break into the city. But the third shooting range should be held longer. If you have collected a few jugs of wine and have not wasted them before, then your archers will shoot the enemy passing by from above, and let Cleopatra break the siege engines that will beat your archers. Later, a ship will approach, and you will only have to bring your heroine on board.

Mission 1-2. Revenge

Now it would be necessary to deal with the enemy city. We immediately send workers to mine timber - then by the time you get to the gold, it will be enough. Send rams to destroy the gates, and as soon as they are demolished, take them back. As a result, all enemy infantry will run after them and be mercilessly cut out. And the archers left without cover will be easy to destroy. At the same time, a camp with a gold mine will be at your disposal. There we rebuild the army and move with it to the next line of defense of the enemy.

Everything is built beautifully there - 2 lines, infantry stands in the center, and archers shoot from the flanks because of the fences. We let all our troops into the enemy infantry, and at this time Cleopatra personally cuts out the archers. Fast and efficient. We build another camp on the river bank, add troops and the whole horde go to the gates of the enemy city. It is advisable to open doctors who will still be useful to you in the future, as well as drag rams (if they survived the assault on the first line of defense). And to take the fortress itself is already quite easy.

Mission 1-3. moonlight temple

The first of many first-person missions. We need to defend the temple from the Romans who are trying to destroy it. We meet the first wave of Romans as close to the ship as possible. Then at the same time we will destroy the siege weapon firing at the temple. We'll mark two more guns and destroy them with our own hands.

Immediately after the destruction of the third catapult, we run back to the temple. Then we will have time not only to grab another amphora, but also to meet the next wave of Romans, consisting mainly of cavalry. Here you need not to hesitate - if the cavalry enters the temple before you, then it will be too late to save anything.

What follows is a rather stunted third wave of Romans that can be dealt with simply by meeting them on the central staircase. But immediately after its completion, you need to run down to the shore to the left of the place where your own catapult stood. Then you will see how the enemy ship will come with assault guns and notice the place where the last 2 amphoras will appear (near the heap of stones). It will be necessary to dodge the stones from the ship and shoot the catapults (just them, do not be distracted by the archers). After that, the mission will be completed.

Mission 2-1. Beggar's Banquet

Now we need to recapture food supplies from the enemy. Namely - to take possession of 16 barns. To begin with, we put everyone on the ship and create more troops there. After that, we set sail and board a Roman ship. We land on the other side and attack the enemy defending 4 barns. After capturing them, they will give several slaves and it will be possible to build a base.

Further, the mission is insanely simple - we build troops and slowly clean up the area, simultaneously capturing barns. The only trick is that after capturing the last barn on the island, the enemy will start landing in the upper right corner of the map, and you will be asked to defend it. And although I managed to hold out for the specified 5 minutes, simply by creating new troops there, I would still recommend putting a small garrison there.

Mission 2-2. The Gauntlet

Another first person mission. Cleopatra is on the ship and must save the life of at least one of her 10 shooters. We start by making the speed minimal. Otherwise, it will be impossible to hit anyone from the swinging deck. And then just shoot all the enemies caught in the scope. This must be done quickly, but carefully. Although you will still approach two catapults with only a couple of shooters in the team. This is a key point - the catapults must be destroyed very quickly, otherwise they will just finish off your shooters. Next, there will be an actual scripted scene with a ramming of your ship, and you will need to swim to the shore. A battle is already waiting on the shore and the general of the Romans. We kill him and go by ship to the Nubian city. And there ... There we are already met by elephants ...

Mission 2-3. Letter to Memphis

We are in Nubia, which means that wonderful elephants have joined our army. First you need to fight the Roman army nearby and take the city. Only after that you will be able to create a base. Then you can go to the right of the starting point and clear your rear from the enemy. At the same time, you will get another nice resource base. It will be possible to get to the next ambassador of the Romans only with the help of elephants - there is an impenetrable forest ahead, and it is necessary that your giants trample a path there. But it’s better to first shoot the enemy with archers from behind the forest and only then climb into the jungle. There will be another city nearby, and you will only have to take the enemy fortress. We study the ram and demolish the gate. After the enemies inside the fortress run out and the enemy hero is destroyed, the mission will be completed.

Mission 2-4. As Rattle Thunder

Another first person mission. This time there is a traitor in our ranks who needs to be exterminated. Of course, the traitor immediately disappeared under the protection of the Romans, so you will have to make a lot of efforts to destroy him.

First you need to kill as many as 75 Romans or traitors. This task is quite difficult if you rush from side to side and try to shoot enemies before they irreparably damage your health. Therefore, we quickly clear the clearing in the course of our movement and from there, slowly moving forward, we shoot the enemy with a bow. By the way, if you meet entire detachments of archers, then it is still more convenient to cut them with a sword. But it’s better to shoot the cavalry just from the bow - it will come out faster. When you come to the village, through which you will need to pass, then not only a piano will come out of the bushes, but downright a whole elephant. We do not enter into a battle with him, we just climb up the path and shoot the unfortunate animal, which is unable to keep up with us.

Then you will have to make your way along the paths for a long time, picking up amphorae with wine, until you reach the chariot. Here on it it will be proposed to catch up with Horus. Although the task is given to save the chariot, but along the way there are only two worthy opponents - catapults and enemy chariots. The infantry itself climbs under the wheels and dies there, without having time to do anything worthwhile. And then we just chase Horus, shooting him with a bow. One day the mission will end.

Mission 3-1. Eye for an Eye

It is time for Egypt to move forward. And today we are retaking back Cairo.

The beginning of the mission is complicated by the fact that we have only 3 in the indicator responsible for the number of units. But at the same time, there are still a huge number of strongholds on the map, so by the end of the mission, the number of new units will reach up to 14 fighters. Moreover, there is a sea to the east of you, on which you can capture several points with complete impunity, thereby facilitating the recruitment of an army for yourself, besides, you can create the same initial base. Then there will be a tedious assault on the valley, around which several catapults are placed. So, whatever one may say, there will be a lot of troops there. Fortunately, there is no need to complain about the amount of resources. A little further you will find the first Roman commander, who must be killed. For the second, you will have to cross to the other side. But everything is also easy there.

Mission 3-2. Crossing

And here is the mission, probably familiar to many from the demo version of the game. Here, after the first battles, we find a ford and cross it with Cleopatra in first-person mode. After a long journey along the mountain paths with the shooting of all the enemies encountered on the way, our heroine will have to capture the ship, on which she will sail for the troops left on the other side. While wandering around the island, it is best to take your time and look ahead carefully - then you will shoot the enemy in small groups, without waiting for him to accumulate in a crowd.

When you sail for your troops, the peasants who are being destroyed by the Roman cavalry will turn to you for help. We load on the ship as much as we can, and we sail a little from the shore. You can shoot the cavalry, which will be stupidly spinning around the coast, meaninglessly dying at the same time. We establish a camp and finish off the remaining Romans. After that, we cross to the other side, to the fortress. It is necessary to transport one peasant, so that he creates a catapult. After that, an assault will follow with the destruction of another Roman commander.

Mission 3-3. Final Exeunt

The last mission is surprisingly easy. First we need to destroy several enemy ships, and then it will be possible to get to the shore. On the coast, you can create your own camp and from there go to war against Octavian. Only here the camp should be created not near the gold, but closer to the right edge of the map. Otherwise, the shells from the catapults will perfectly exterminate your workers who went for prey. At some point, the enemy will decide to attack your positions. Here we must not get lost, but send Cleopatra forward, who will cut through the ranks of the enemy and destroy most of the enemy archers and the catapult on the wall. But then it is necessary to act only with the army (which will be helped by local residents), and take care of valuable amphorae. After all, as soon as Cleopatra picks up the amphora on the descent to the piers, she will switch to first-person mode and the time will come for the final battle.

On the bireme sailing towards Octavian's giant ship, huddle to the stern (the balls mostly hit the center of the ship) and shoot the enemy siege engines. On the ship, do not linger anywhere in particular (except to destroy the catapults on the bow), run to the stern and beat Octavian there. Well, that's all, then only the final video, in which Cleopatra, who sacrificed herself, is solemnly carried to the pyramid ...
