The mod contains settings, so be sure you can choose the balance of random encounters with opponents you need.

Debug Console Enabler

If you are not going to be limited to installing only one mod, the divine powers of the debug console will come in handy. This utility gives you access to this console, allowing you to enter commands to change settings, spawn enemies, fix bugs and more.

Nexus Mod Manager

All Witcher mods are tied to Nexus and Nexus Mod Manager is the best way to get rid of various bugs caused by incompatible mods. When installing new mods, be sure to pay attention to warnings about possible problems, including problems with loading saves. With the NMM, even mods that are basically incompatible with each other can work perfectly if they are installed in the correct order.

But be careful. Combine only those mods that work without problems with each other, otherwise you will have to repeat everything over and over again.

Menu and travel

In the world of Geralt, by default, there are dozens of control points for fast movement, but sometimes you have to cross several kilometers on a roach to get to the nearest one. If you are tired of such a routine, then this mod will allow you to teleport to any checkpoint - something similar was in Skyrim. The main thing is not to abuse this opportunity, since too frequent teleportations lead to problems with several quests.

Of course, it's great that the map isn't packed with a bunch of icons, like in some Ubisoft game, but at times you can regret it, especially if you can't remember where the healer is. This mod adds all possible icons to the map - from the nearest merchants to quest points, information about which is taken from your quest journal. If you think this is overkill, you can always hide unnecessary icons.

The chest with your things can be found at several points on the map, but the creators of this mod asked themselves the question: "Why not add more chests?" After installing the mod, 8 new points with chests will appear in the game, and 2 standard ones will be transferred to more convenient places. This is very convenient, especially if you have a mod for general realism installed, which takes into account the weight of the coins that Geralt keeps with him.

One of the best things about the Witcher is that you need to prepare thoroughly before each major contract. We create oil from ghosts, stock up on moon dust, meditate and, of course, sharpen a silver sword.

In this fashion, meditation becomes a more meaningful process. During meditation, you spend experience points on pumping skills, replenishing supplies of alchemical items and oils, and also repairing the necessary things. By default, this mod is not allowed to eat or drink during the battle, so make sure you are fully prepared for a midday encounter.

In this mod, the supply of potions is still replenished during meditation, but you do not need to look at the boring menu. On the contrary, the entire interface temporarily disappears, and all you have to do is watch the clouds slowly floating across the sky, the shining stars and the sun rising from behind the mountains.

The user interface in The Witcher 3 looks pretty tricky, but disabling some features will make the game even more difficult. This mod has several applications available from different downloads that solve interface problems. Hold the down button to meditate instead of visiting the menu, or hide the quest marker if you are not using the Witcher senses, plus some HUD elements that can be turned on and off by pressing any button instead of bringing up the menu, and much more.

This mod is suitable for anyone who wants to bring this system back into the game, getting rid of all the window dressing in the style of Cirque du Soleil.

Geralt already carries a lot of things in his bag, not counting two heavy swords behind his back, but if you are one of those who simply cannot get past the new sword from the witch hunter collection, then you need this mod. So what is the final weight limit? Yes, you guessed it. More than 9000. From now on you do not have to worry about the fact that captured weapons, which can be useful in very rare cases, take up too much space in your inventory. Just take it with you and don't bother with such trifles.

The game could be called the Wild Hunt, but hunting creatures and monsters is not the best way to make a living. If you are tired of killing a bunch of deer, you will get only a little meat, then this mod increases the chance that animals will leave behind a supply of meat or some ingredients.

It's a little offensive when you bring a lot of unnecessary junk to the city to sell, and the local merchants are so poor that they can't afford to buy it all at once. This mod makes merchants more prosperous, so they are willing to pay more for each item. Unfortunately, the patch conflicts with version 1.31, but you have two choices: install an unofficial patch or an unofficial version of the mod authored by another creator.

In the game, we travel either for the sake of finding a job or for the sake of fun - combining both is quite difficult, isn't it? If your Geralt doesn't mind playing Gwent from time to time, but doesn't want to jump around the neighborhood in search of new cards, the The Gwent Dealer mod will save him a lot of energy. This mod turns Quartermaster Baron into a real card collector. Now you can buy from him not only ordinary things, but also almost any card.

As with the Gwent Dealer, this mod turns the humble tavern owner into one of the most prominent merchants in the game. Now the owner of Dandelion's tavern sells almost all potions, oils, bombs, runes, mutagens and arrows. Out of balance? Perhaps. But it’s pretty damn convenient.

Ugly equipment. It's sad, but it can happen even with the best witchers, no matter how they try to look stylish. If a new sword, over which you pored for several hours, will not have the most beautiful scabbard that does not fit into your color scheme in any way, then just download Black Scabbards to solve the problem. We believe black is perfect for everything, including the scabbard.

On the one hand, this is a minor cosmetic change that does not affect the gameplay in any way. On the other hand, this is almost the best of all the created mods. If in single-player RPGs you are most worried about the appearance of the hero, then you should not pass by this mod. Geralt looks incredibly cool in his new robe. Moreover, there are keys for raising or lowering the hood. But it already depends on your mood.

There are quite a few gear mods out there, but our favorite is the Sezon Burz. Based on The Season of Thunderstorms by Andrzej Sapkowski, this outfit fits perfectly into the Witcher universe while still looking surprisingly fresh. Moreover, new things are distributed by levels, so you can pump your hero and switch to a new set of equipment.

Depending on your playing style, some elements of the daily routine of the witcher can become unbearable - especially after a couple of hundred hours in the game. But now you can wipe your game camera like a professional photographer. Mod No Dirty Lenses removes drops of water and dirt from the screen, but when diving or in the rain, these drops reappear.

The Witcher 3 is good. Even gorgeous. But what if the game was more like Tarantino's films? The More Blood mod adds literally liters of blood to the game. Now Geralt is constantly getting dirty during battles, his swords are always splattered with fresh blood, and from demons it naturally pours in buckets. Are you ready for a bloody adventure?

If you have a powerful graphics card, why not use its capabilities to the maximum by increasing the draw range? The open world in The Witcher is impressive in scale, but it looks many times more impressive with a drawing several kilometers ahead. The mod has many settings where you can set a specific drawing distance. But be careful - the performance of the game may drop if you set all settings to maximum and send to Novigrad (but this depends on the capabilities of your PC).

The mod falls into the same category "not for everyone." More Shadows adds dynamic shadows to all lights in the game. Torches on the walls now cast shadows directly below them, and huge braziers in cities will become the source of all kinds of shadows on the cobbled streets. We recently wrote about this mod: it's a complete reimagining of The Witcher's combat system. The main innovation is the removal of auto-aiming. Now Geralt no longer jumps from one enemy to another like a pinball, but hits only where you direct him. This means that you can prepare a blow and sharply go behind the enemy's back or break through his shield.

This is a major change, but it is far from the only one in TW3EE. It also adds new animations, new parrying methods, as well as new types of preparation for strikes at a distance. Each attack can affect your hero - there is a possibility that Geralt will get out of the next brawl with a broken arm or leg. These effects are directly reflected in the leveling, alchemy system and equipment of the hero.

If you've been through New Game + a few times already and have seen everything The Witcher 3 has to offer, then this improved version will be a great reason to re-install the game. It is advised to put the mod on a "clean" version of the game, after which you can safely install additional modifications.

Ghost Mode is just as ambitious as the Enhanced Edition, but the changes are more subtle. He does not abandon the foundations of the original, but only polishes all the little things that required edits. For example, you can no longer find expensive plates on the shelves of a poor man, all the ingredients have weight (but you need fewer ingredients for alchemy), and simple equipment has become more powerful and useful. Typos in item descriptions have also been corrected, enemies have received new bonuses to armor and stamina limits, etc.

If you think that The Witcher 3 needs a complete overhaul of all systems, then the Enhanced Edition is waiting for you. If you think that the game just needs to be polished and balanced (which the modders have been doing for two years), then feel free to install Ghost Mode.

And, of course, put the mod on a "clean" version of the game, and only after that add the rest of the mods to your liking.

The Witcher 3 was released a long time ago, but this does not prevent the game from being in the top. Global reshaid. Thanks to this, the mod in the game changes the work of light sources, highlights, shadows and contrast in general. The developer of the mod tried to make the picture the way it looked on the first trailers of The Witcher 3. Did it work out, it's up to you. There are a number of alternative reshade modes in the download section. The installation is the same as the previous mods.
