Author: Zinovieva Zhanna Vladimirovna, teacher-psychologist
Place of work: MB DOI No. 1, settlement Shushenskoye, Krasnoyarsk Territory

Purpose: games can be included in GCD, holidays, entertainment, leisure.

Target: to develop attention, memory, teach orientation in space, teach to apply new knowledge in practice, develop creativity, promote the ability to play together.

The number of players is not limited. The game can be played both indoors and on the playground on the site. Explain the rules of the game to the children before playing. Children move freely in space (group, site) and listen to commands. Movements are performed on command. Before the game, the teacher demonstrates the movements for each team. You can practice two commands at the beginning of the game and gradually introduce other commands, making the game more difficult.

Commands:
"Leaves" - squat down, imitate the fall of leaves with your hands and lower your palms to the floor (ground).
"Wind" - do not quickly run around the room or area in a free direction.
"Trees" - standing straight, stretch your arms up, tilt left and right
"Sunny" - standing straight arms and legs shoulder-width apart (depict the rays of the sun), as an option, there can be jumps with movements of arms and legs.
"Fungus" - children squat down and make a "mushroom cap" over their heads with their hands.
"Rain" - imitation of rain drops with a finger on the palm (if the game is indoors), the teacher depicts an "umbrella", everyone runs to the teacher and hugs (if the game is on the court).

Outdoor game "Garden" for children 4-7 years old.

Target: consolidate and generalize the knowledge of children about vegetables, teach how to guess riddles by describing the subject, develop communication skills, creativity, and promote the ability to play together.

The number of players is not limited. The game can be played both indoors and on the playground on the site. All players stand in a circle and join hands, moving in one direction, pronounce the words:
So autumn has come, you look, but don't yawn.
Do not yawn, but harvest the crops in the garden.
There are a lot of vegetables in the garden, let's name them in order.

After these words, the players stop, and the teacher asks one of the children "What grows in our garden"? The child names a vegetable. This is how …… .. (the name of the vegetable) has grown in our country (show the shape of the vegetable or the size with your hands). Game continues.

Option 2: You can use riddles about vegetables. After everyone has stopped, the teacher makes a riddle about the vegetable - the children guess.
The game continues until each participant names a vegetable.

The teacher says the words and shows the actions:

"Our legs are walking along the narrow path!"

All children follow the teacher, approaching the "pebbles". An adult shows how to step from circle to circle. Children imitate his actions: "By pebbles, by pebbles, by pebbles!"

Suddenly the teacher suddenly says: “And into the hole - boo!”, Jumps out of the circle, crouches, and all the children follow him. The game repeats itself.

Children in the forest (Jr., Wed. groups)

Children sit on high chairs that stand on one side of the playground. In the words of the educator:

“Sunshine, sunshine,
Shine a little!
The kids will go out for a walk -
They will run and play ”

Children walk and run all over the playground.

After the words

Rain, rain, more fun
Drip, drip, do not regret.
Just don't get us wet

On the word "stop!" everyone freezes in place, the presenter looks quickly. If the child did not have time to stop and stand up straight, the leader again leads him to the line and, when the game is repeated, he begins to move again from the line.
The leader again closes his eyes and says the same words, and the children move on to the leader in the circle, and so on until one of the children reaches the leader in the circle before he says "stop!" This child changes places with the leader, and the game is repeated.

The rest of the children - "butterflies" and "bugs" stand behind the line. The middle of the site is free. To the teacher's word: “day” butterflies and bugs fly (children run around the playground). To the teacher’s word: “night” butterflies and bugs quickly stop in their places and do not move. At this time, the owl quietly flies out to the hunting ground and takes those children who have moved (takes them to the nest). On the teacher's word: "day" the owl returns to its nest, and butterflies and bugs begin to fly. The game ends when the owl has 2 - 3 butterflies or a bug. The teacher marks children who have never been taken into the nest by an owl.

Geese: Yes, yes, yes

Educator: So fly!

Geese: We can't, the gray wolf under the mountain, won't let us home!

I am Frost - Red nose.

Which one of you will decide

To set off on a path-path?

The chorus players answer:

We are not afraid of threats

And we are not afraid of frost.

After that, they run across the site to another house, Frost catches up and tries to freeze them (touch with his hand). The frozen ones stop at the place where Frost overtook them, and stay that way until the end of the dash. Frost counts how many players he managed to freeze. In this case, it is taken into account that players who ran out of the house before the signal or remained in the house after it are also considered frozen. After several dashes, a new Frost is chosen. At the end of the game, a result is summed up, it is compared which Frost froze more players.

Option. The game proceeds in the same way as the previous one, but in it there are two Frosts (Frost - Red nose and Frost - Blue nose). Standing in the middle of the playground facing the children, they say:

Snow carousel.

Course of the game: Holding hands, the children form a circle around the snowman and draw snowflakes. At the signal of an adult, they walk slowly at first, then faster and faster, in the end they run. After the players run around the circle several times, the adult invites them to change the direction of movement, saying: "The wind has changed, the snowflakes flew in the other direction." The players slow down, stop and start moving in the opposite direction. At first they move slowly, and then faster and faster, until an adult says: "The wind has completely died down, the snowflakes are calmly falling to the ground." The movement of the snow carousel slows down, the children stop and release their hands.

After a short rest, the game resumes.

Blizzard.

All children stand up one after another and join hands. The first is an adult - he is a blizzard. A blizzard slowly runs between snow buildings, ramparts, sleds like a snake, or runs around them, leading them. The guys try not to break the chain and not bump into objects.

Beware, I will freeze!

" Children run into a circle and join hands.

Snowflakes-fluffs. (Younger age)

Purpose: to teach to act on the signal of the teacher

The course of the game: The players move in a crowd around the presenter, turning at the same time around themselves. After a while, the direction of movement changes, the round dance spins in the other direction.

The players select a customer from their midst, and the rest stand in a row, holding one to the other, as in the game "The Wolf and the Sheep". The front one is called a bun, the others make up the oven, and the last one is announced as a pie.
The buyer comes up to the baker and asks:

Where is my pie?

Buloshnik answers:

Lies behind the stove!

The buyer runs there from the right side, and the pie, shouting:

"And runs, and runs" - in a hurry to stand in front of the baker.

If he succeeds, he becomes a baker, the back one becomes a pastry, and the buyer has to buy again.

But if the buyer catches the pie, then he (the buyer) becomes a baker, and the pie becomes a buyer.

And so these positions are constantly passing from one to another.

This game is very lively. Since the pie answers immediately after the baker, the words are constantly distributed:

A preschool child is incapable of long-term work at a desk. The principle of frequent change of activity dictates the alternation of a sedentary form of work with motor activity. The child has a constant need to move. As it is sung in the famous song: "He must run and jump ...".

Characteristics of outdoor games for preschoolers

The rapid penetration of gadgets and the media into our lives affects the development of children. There is a decrease in motivation for outdoor games among older preschoolers (5–7 years old). Of course, in kindergartens and centers, classes on physical culture and sports events. But on weekends and during holidays, children are less likely to feel the desire to play classics, rubber bands, robber Cossacks. Games in mobile devices addictive, offer online communication with other guys.

Games on mobile devices draw the attention of children from noisy fun in the yard and live communication with peers

Particular attention in the educational process is paid to teaching children outdoor games. This game form combines an entertainment element with clear rules aimed at development physical qualities... The goals of outdoor games are to increase physical activity and enrich the playing experience of preschoolers. As recent studies show, today's children do not move enough during the day. They walk a little on fresh air due to a decrease in interest in outdoor games with peers. The teacher must teach children the games available to them for independent organization, as well as motivate them to active entertainment.

In the game, children improve motor skills, have fun and communicate

Poor gaming experience is often the reason for declining interest in outdoor games. Children know a few simple games. Soon they get tired of playing the same game. It is difficult for children to independently come up with rules for such a game.

When my children and I arrived at the dacha last year, for the first week they disappeared with friends somewhere behind the plot. They came at home only to have a bite or take a new attribute: a ball, skipping ropes, ribbons, a hoop. And then one of the older guys brought a tablet out into the street, and the whole company sat down on a bench. To the question: "Why don't you play balls now?" Then we began to learn together new types of ball games.

Learning new rules brings kids back to play in the yard

Table: tasks and methods of teaching outdoor games

Age groupTasksTraining techniques
First and second junior (1.5-4 years old)
  • Development of gross motor skills and coordination of movements.
  • Development of attention.
  • Formation of the ability to act on the signal of the educator.
  • For younger preschoolers, games with a simple plot and characters familiar to children are chosen.
  • Participants perform the same movements.
  • One leading role stands out in games, it is first performed by an adult, then each of the pupils is taught.
  • The teacher or physical education instructor is a play partner.
  • Games can be accompanied by simple songs or rhymes. If one of the children is silent, during the game you should not focus on this, but learn the text with the child afterwards, in an individual lesson.

  • Development of motor skills.
  • Development of attentiveness, dexterity, endurance, eye.
  • Formation to correlate verbal instructions with game action.
  • Fostering a sense of camaraderie.

  • To explain the implementation of a complex movement, the teacher makes an exhibition at one of the children.
  • With older preschoolers, the adult participates in the game, if this is necessary for proper organization. For example, the child did not have enough pair.
  • The teacher is an active observer of the game: he encourages, emotionally comments, praises.
  • Most outdoor games in older groups are accompanied by lyrics or songs. Upon familiarization, the teacher expressively reads the entire text. When learning by children, makes sure that the reproduction is harmonious, and not dry chanting.

Kids in the game learn to follow the instructions of the teacher, develop simple motor skills

Types of outdoor games

There are several classifications of outdoor games.

According to the degree of motor activity, the following are distinguished:

  1. - games with low intensity of movements. They are carried out to relieve overvoltage after intellectual activities and as a reduction in physical activity. These games are usually carried out in one place, the movements are calm and smooth: tilts and turns of the head, waving hands, movements of the hand and fingers. Developing task sedentary games- development of attention.

    In the game "Do as I do" the movements are of low intensity, and the attention is extremely concentrated

  2. Games of medium mobility - games with a greater degree of physical activity, but the movements are calm. Such games are held in subgroups or the whole team. Developing tasks: developing the ability to act on command, improving coordination of movements, eye, accuracy. Basic movements: walking, body bending, transfer of objects, jumping on the spot.
    A classic example of a game of medium mobility is "Stream". Children form a column by holding hands and lifting them up. The trickle leader passes or runs under the collar and chooses a pair for himself. The one whose pair was broken becomes a stream.

    In the game "Stream" the host goes through the column and chooses a pair

    High mobility games - games for the whole group, with intense movement. These games often have a competitive element. Children are divided into subgroups, compete in speed, endurance, dexterity. Games of high mobility include all kinds of catch-up and games like "Who is faster?" Leading movements: bounces, fast run, crawling and climbing.

    Children play " Snow Queen"- a plot version of the salochki

  1. Plot-free - games in which roles are not provided, and the rules do not depend on any story (fairy tale or everyday). That is, there is no script in the game, but it captivates children with competition.

    Examples of imp story games:

    • “Find the color” is a game for attentiveness and reaction speed: each child has a flag of a certain color in his hands, they walk around the room (playground) and, upon a signal, must put a flag on an object of the corresponding color, the latter is eliminated.
    • “Try to pass” is a skill game: children take turns walking under a stretched string (bar) so as not to hit, with each pass the obstacle is lowered.
    • "Take a chair" is a game on the speed of reaction: children run around the chairs (their number is 1 less than the number of participants), at the signal they sit down, who does not have enough space, he is eliminated.
    • "Water carriers" is a game of speed and dexterity: children are divided into two teams to determine who will transfer water from one barrel to another faster and more accurately with buckets.

    The mobile game "Take a chair" unfolds in the form of a competition: who will be the most agile

  2. Narrative games - outdoor games conducted according to a scenario. The game simulates an everyday scene or a fairytale situation. Participants play roles, therefore, the expressiveness of movements develops in the plot game.

    Examples of story games:

    • "Reel": the teacher invites children to become a thread, holding hands, and reel in an imaginary reel.
    • "Bear and bees": children represent bees, the leader is a bear, at a signal the bees scatter, the bear tries to catch them.
    • "Cat's House" is a game based on a fairy tale poem: children use play attributes to extinguish an imaginary fire.

    In the story game "The Wolf and the Hares", children's motor skills and expressiveness in the reproduction of images are developed

  3. Folk outdoor games reflect the ideas of ancestors about the world around them and contain folklore motives. For a long time, play has been a means of a child's versatile development. In games, the children's need for movement and entertainment was filled. Folk games are divided into three groups:
    • dramatic: game imitation of everyday and fairy-tale scenes, acting out dialogues in motion ("Geese-Swans", "A Bear in the Forest");

      In the folk game "Geese-Swans" costumes are used, which creates additional interest for children

    • sports: games-competitions ("Leapfrog", "Gorodki", "Ogaryshi", "Lapta");

      Folk games and amusements are an integral part of the festivities in kindergarten

    • round dance: a dance game with a given movement and song accompaniment ("Loaf", "Plethen", "Dudar").

      In a round dance game, children learn the coordination of movements, the expressiveness of singing and attentiveness to each other.

In outdoor games, children are introduced to folk traditions. Folk games are one of the forms of implementing the regional-national component in education. Children get acquainted with folklore heroes, perform movements to national music, learn rhymes and songs in their native language.

Folk games are held in kindergartens in various regions of the Russian Federation

An active game is carried out in different regime moments. Games of small and medium mobility are possible between classes. Actually, the game is often part of the activities: musical, educational, sports. The teacher takes into account the degree of stress and the impact on the emotional state of children: the game should not tire the children or over-excite.

For walks, outdoor games are organized daily. If going out into the street was preceded by an energy-consuming lesson (in terms of physical culture, rhythm), it is recommended to play the game in the middle or at the end of the lesson. Traditionally, outdoor games for a walk are classified according to the natural calendar.

  • spring games: with songs, ribbons, flags, toy fruits ("Battle for the flags", "Zarya-zarynitsa", "Nimble hares");
  • summer games: with rubber bands, jump ropes, crayons ("Fishermen and Fish", "Grasshoppers", "Olympics, Mom's Lipstick");
  • autumn games: natural materials or imitation toys ("Leaf fall", "An acorn in hands", "Squirrels, cones and nuts");
  • winter games: with sledges, skis, snowballs (“Taking a Snow Town”, “Snowball Fighting”, “Slalom”).

Outdoor games are a component of leisure activities in kindergarten. Senior preschoolers conduct master classes on teaching younger friends to play. The teacher organizes leisure activities together with the parents in the yard and team games... Festive festivities on Shrovetide, Christmas, Easter are not complete without folk games and dances.

Conducting outdoor games in kindergarten

The preparatory work begins with the teacher choosing an outdoor game in accordance with the age and individual characteristics of children. The regime moment or lesson is determined when it is advisable to play the game. The teacher must know the rules and the game text (if any), check the movements on himself, choose the musical accompaniment (optional).

If the game will be held in a group room or gym, the teacher should take care of preliminary ventilation and wet cleaning of the room.

Attributes or elements of costumes are prepared for the game. The necessary items are stored in the play or sports corner and are available to children. The teacher attracts the children to the preparation: he asks them to bring a certain object, the right number of attributes, toys of the given colors.

  • Poems and songs are performed by an adult, children echo over time.
  • The teacher participates in the game only if someone lacks a pair or one of the teams lacks a player.
End the gameIf the game began with a surprise moment, a response is supposed to it in the final: the children compose a letter orally, the teacher writes it down; the guys say goodbye to the fairy-tale character; promise to make crafts for the return parcel.
  • The transition to a sedentary lesson: finger play listening to songs, etc.
  • Reflection stage. Together with the teacher, children discuss the game: what they liked or not, what difficulties arose, how the game could be made more interesting.

How do I open the game?

Open viewing of outdoor games serves methodological tasks:

  • presentation of an interesting development;
  • event for pedagogical certification;
  • a master class for colleagues, young teachers, students of pedagogical schools;
  • introducing parents to the development of children's play experience.

Open screening involves the presence of guests during the game

The teacher prepares for the open viewing of the game, not the children. For them, it's just a game that guests wanted to watch. It is strictly forbidden to memorize answers with children, rehearse roles, specifically repeat the game. The value of open events is in demonstrating pedagogical excellence.

Usually outdoor play is part of an open class. For open events, it is recommended to prepare integrated sessions that reveal different areas of development. The organization of educational activities, productive creativity, the methodology for conducting role-playing or outdoor games, etc., is assessed.

Card index of integrated activities with outdoor games

  • "Journey in the magic forest" in the older group: the development of speech activity through musical activity and outdoor games.
  • "Folk life in Russia" for all ages (material is selected): acquaintance with folk music, everyday life, crafts and round dance games.
  • "Modes of transport" in younger groups: directly educational activities and an outdoor game "Train".
  • "Sparrows and a cat" in the younger group: drawing sparrows and outdoor play.
  • "Sparrows and a cat" in the middle group: sculpting sparrows, drawing up collective creative work and outdoor play.
  • "Variety of plants" in the preparatory group: experimental and experimental activity ("Factors of plant growth: water, light, heat") and an outdoor game "Day and night plants".

The structure of open classes for the teacher traditionally includes outdoor games familiar to children. In this case, one should not "act out" the primary conduct of the game. Recalling the content and rules in the conversation with the children, adding a stage of introspection ("Do you think the game was more fun today?") - these are also indicators of the ability to organize the game.
Tip: for playing outdoors, use unusual attributes and original masks, including homemade ones.

Open classes dedicated exclusively to outdoor games are conducted by a physical education instructor in the gym. An educator can be involved in conducting games: he demonstrates movements, helps to distribute roles, perform poetic and song texts, and participates in games.

Physical culture lesson consists of games of a general orientation:

  • with the same attributes: games with a ball, with skipping ropes, with flags;
  • story games: based on fairy tales, with everyday scenes;
  • one theme: courtyard, round dance, pioneer games.

Materials for outdoor games

Attributes are stored in the play area and gym. In the free access for children there is a part of the objects with the help of which they are able to independently conduct the game.

Younger preschoolers can play with the ball on their own: roll or throw to each other.

In the middle group, children know poems for some games. Character masks, flags, ribbons are available for them.

Older preschoolers play with skipping ropes, rubber bands, badminton kits, in towns.

As mentioned above, children enjoy being involved in making items for play - attributes and masks. It is recommended to use waste material for this purpose. Children get excited about how a simple thing becomes an important part. interesting game... And they are also very proud when they manage to give a second life to useless garbage: jars, plastic bottles, boxes.

In outdoor games, badges and medallions are used. They are needed to designate characters and in team-based competition games. Making medallions is simple: cut out circles from cardboard, decorate or glue the printed image and hang on a satin ribbon. It is more difficult with emblems, because they are attached to clothes. It is not recommended to use icons in games with preschoolers, children can get hurt with a sharp fastener. Holds paper tokens well and does not leave marks on clothes with double-sided tape.

In the play area there is a booklet or card index for outdoor games. Children independently study the schematic images of games, remember the rules or turn to the teacher for help if they want to play the game. Great idea: to create a collection of games together with the guys. You can create a folder, which will be replenished with cards with a description of each game studied and photographs with the guys themselves.

Text material for outdoor games

Outdoor games are a natural form of motor skill training and entertainment. From time immemorial, children gathered in groups, agreed on the rules of the game and had fun in the yard. Special genres of oral folk art still live in outdoor games. Children's folklore - verbal creativity, reflecting the ideas and knowledge of children, arises and exists in traditionally children's activities: games and amusements. Simple rhymes and stories are imbued with motives of goodness and joy. They mention fairy-tale heroes, characters beloved by children. Modern children rarely come up with something new. It is important to replenish their experience through memorizing and using small literary genres in the game: rhymes, chants, jokes, rhymes.

V round dance games-dance songs are sure to sound

A rhyme is a short rhyme rhyme used to determine the leader in the game. It helps build honesty and camaraderie. The teacher introduces counting rhymes in games with children 4 years old. First, an adult pronounces the text and shows how the drawing of lots is carried out with its help. Then a counting-ringer is memorized with the children, and they try to determine with its help the leader on their own.

Calls are short rhythmic songs in which the child turns to natural phenomena, animals and plants. With the help of cries, children develop a sense of the significance of words, their ancient sacred meaning. These songs are accompanied by outdoor games. They are used by children to play around with some kind of accident or small problem.

In round dance games with the movement "in the sun" (the chain goes in a circle clockwise), spring calls and appeals about the sun are often used.
You can beat problem situations with chants, for example, when water gets into your ear while swimming (“Mouse, mouse, pour water ...”), and if you feel sad, ask the month for consolation (“Month, month, shine…”).

Nursery rhymes are short rhymes designed to be recited (less often chanted) with young children. Nursery rhymes are accompanied by elementary play movements: claps, swings, bends, stomping, etc. These rhymes develop rhythm in children 1-3 years old and form an interest in outdoor games.

Advice: arrange joint leisure activities with mothers, introduce them to nursery rhymes. Toddlers are best at expanding knowledge and developing skills through joint games with mom. The teacher performs the nursery rhyme, participates in the game, the kids repeat the movements after him. But the younger preschool age is the time of playing with an adult partner. And the best partner, of course, is Mom.

The analysis takes into account the degree of motivation to participate in the game, what techniques were used to create interest in children. The leader considers play activities pupils in conjunction with their methodology.

An emotional mood has been created for the conduct.

The set goal has been achieved.

Prospects: continue to work on learning the rules in games by children.

Festival of outdoor games in kindergarten

Festivals dedicated to outdoor games are a variant of a sports event in kindergarten. This is a kind of reporting form for the teacher on the development of games and, at the same time, entertainment for children.

It is best to spend sports events outdoors.

The principles of organizing a sports event:

  • choosing the best place: in the gym, on the territory of the kindergarten, on the playground of a neighboring school, in a nearby park;
  • identification of participants and guests: participation of children of different ages (middle and senior groups, senior and preparatory), whether parents, brothers, sisters will be invited;
  • preparation of the holiday program: outdoor games of varying degrees of intensity alternate with singing, reading poetry, watching a presentation;
  • thinking over an award ceremony if it is planned to hold games-competitions: commemorative medallions, diplomas.

Video: winter outdoor games festival

Sports events are organized with pupils, starting from the middle group: children are invited to participate in the games senior group... Festivals of outdoor games need to be held at different times of the year so that children develop a constant motivation for active rest.

Duration of outdoor games festivals

  • In the middle group - 30-40 minutes.
  • In the senior class - 40-50 minutes.
  • In preparatory work - no more than 1 hour.

The greatest benefits for the recovery and hardening of children are brought by parties organized in the open air.

Festivals of Russian folk games are traditionally held during Christmas festivities, Shrovetide week, on Trinity and Ivan Kupala in summer. These are colorful and funny holidays, by participating in which children join the traditions. Pupils of the younger groups also participate in the "walks" (always together with their parents): among the folk games there are many such that are suitable for the smallest. To stomp to the rhythm of a joke, to dance in circles and run away from Baba Yaga is a real delight for kids!

The festival of folk games is often held on Shrovetide

Last summer, the head of the circle for spiritual and moral education organized a holiday of folk games on Trinity. The city park was chosen as the venue. Parents were involved in preparing the site for the holiday: they made a decorative wattle fence, decorated the trees with ribbons and balloons... Unfortunately, there are no birches in the park, so they made a beautiful dummy.

The Trinity festivities began with a beautiful maiden greeting the guests. The presenter told about the history of the holiday and drew everyone into the round dance "Birch".

At the holiday, children and parents played in "Watches", "Burn, burn, clear", "Lady", "Bells". A wreath-weaving workshop was held between the games.

Trinity festivities from time immemorial have been day fun games for children and youth

During this festival, children get to know the peculiarities of different countries in an entertaining way. The advantage of the above scenario is in subject integration. The event synthesizes elements of the areas "Physical development" (games), "Cognition" (geographical information), "Artistic and aesthetic" (appeal to poems, fairy tales). The final of the holiday is dedicated to the Krasnodar Territory, which brings up in children a reverent attitude towards their small homeland.

Make it a rule: a festive event (sports, music, cognitive orientation) is implemented within the framework of the main provision of the Federal State Educational Standard - the upbringing of a comprehensively developed personality. Various forms of active leisure are fun for children and benefits.

Education - higher philological, master's degree in philology. Specialty - teacher of Russian language and literature, teacher of history. Studying the modern literary process is part of my life. As a teacher in recent years, I often interact with children of preschool age, therefore I actively explore the experience of preschool educators, study the latest developments in teaching preschoolers.
