What modules to install on heavy tanks. World of Tanks equipment: tips and tricks

  • 29.07.2021

Equipment - systems, units and assemblies that improve the characteristics of the tank. It can be simple (removable) or complex (non-removable).

Removable equipment can be moved from one machine to another, or to a warehouse for free. In order to dismantle complex equipment, you need to pay 10 units of gold.

Simple equipment

The effect:+ 25% to the radius of sight from a stationary tank.

Description: One of the most useful types of equipment. The 25% review bonus is very impressive and sometimes decisive. The tank or self-propelled gun that spotted the enemy first has a huge tactical advantage. As a rule, this is the right to the first shot or the opportunity for various maneuvers (change of position, retreat, turn towards the enemy with armor). In addition, a good overview is financially beneficial: if the tank sees further, then it rarely shoots at someone else's light, on the contrary, it shines on the allies, thereby earning credits - as a result, all the income from its shot and part of the income from the shot goes to the piggy bank allies.

The stereo tube works only in a stationary position, so fans of active games usually prefer the alternative - enlightened optics. However, in fact, even fast tanks can benefit enormously from the use of a stereo tube. It can be a passive light for allies or a careful movement from cover to cover: we reached the bush - we looked around, if there is no danger, we move on.

Undoubtedly, blind tank destroyers such as Ferdinand, ISU-152, Jagdpanther and others will feel the greatest benefit from the stereo tube. The pipe will allow them to spot the enemy at the line of sight first, shoot and back out into cover to reload.

For blind vehicles with 260-330 vision (Hetzer, SU-152, SAu-40 and others), the stereo tube can become a real lifesaver, especially at the end of the battle, when you need to drag. With a stereoscopic tube, even a weak tank is able to fight off several opponents, leaving under fire one by one, or direct friendly artillery fire at them.

The pipe should not be used on melee tanks such as Maus, E-100, IS-7, KV-5 and others. In addition, on vehicles with a view of 390+, the effect of the pipe will be excessive with a limit of visibility in its light of 445 meters. Of course, in this case, the tank receives a bonus to unmasking enemies, but it is still more rational to use optics on such vehicles.

Verdict: the stereoscopic tube is of little use on howitzer self-propelled guns and melee vehicles. For combat vehicles with a view of 390 and more, it is more rational to use enlightened optics. For all others, this type of equipment is recommended for use. For most ambush snipers and fans of passive light tactics, this is a must.

Camouflage network.

The effect: significantly reduces the visibility of a stationary vehicle.

Description: Unlike the "Disguise" skill, the net is useful not only for stealthy vehicles - the bonus to stealth is fixed. Nevertheless, occupying a precious slot of equipment with a camouflage net should be where it is really necessary and in conjunction with the "Disguise" skill.

A net in combination with a stereoscopic tube can be useful for passive light: a light tank with a camouflage, net, and stereoscopic tube drives into a bush near the path of enemy movement and directs fire to allies, remaining unnoticed. In addition, nothing prevents the use of similar tactics on tank destroyers: until a certain moment we shine on our allies, and when the enemy comes close, we open fire ourselves.

The grid can also be useful on SPGs if enemy light has broken through to it. If the scout is not driving directly at you, but is busy searching at a certain distance, it will be more useful to hide, covering himself with a net, and not try to destroy the enemy on his own, thereby revealing his position. Even if there is nowhere to wait for help, good camouflage gives you a chance to let enemies closer and make a more prepared shot.

Verdict: useful type of equipment. Recommended for light tanks, tank destroyers and self-propelled guns, whose crews use disguises. It will be most useful to fans of careful play and sniper tactics, who are well versed in the mechanics of concealment and detection in the game.

Toolbox.

the effect: + 25% to repair speed.

Description: This type of equipment is useful for those vehicles that are often criticized for something. First of all, these are tracks and a tool. In this regard, the box will be most useful on heavy melee tanks with a large margin of safety (E-100, E-75, T32, KV-5, IS-3 and others) - they often have to either become a diamond or dance with the body, making it difficult for the enemy aiming. In such cases, the projectile often flies into the caterpillar. American TTs and tank destroyers, such as T29, T32, T30, usually play through the turret and often get critical weapons several times per battle. In addition, super-armored vehicles, such as the Maus, often suffer from gun crits - desperate to penetrate their armor, enemies below the level like to switch to land mines and ruin our lives by breaking the main caliber. Acceleration of repairs will be useful for tank destroyers - enemies often deliberately knock down a track in order to enter the flank and rear of a helpless self-propelled gun. Often, the caterpillar is also torn off by an artillery land mine that exploded nearby. Timely repairs will allow avoiding the following shells, launched "after".

It is important to remember that the effect of the box is added with the "Repair" skill, pumped from the crew. Moreover, without repair, the box will be practically useless. Another thing is when the repair is swinging, but has not yet reached 100%, and this case is the most common reason for installing a toolbox. That is, when pumping repairs from the crew on some TT or ST, we put a box. When the repair is fully (or almost completely) pumped for all tankers, we exchange the box for some other useful equipment. It should be borne in mind that the repair time for modules is different for different machines. For example, a German VK3601 (H), with 100% repair, has a downed caterpillar repaired for 7 seconds. Installing the box helps to reduce this time to 5 seconds.

In general, the recommendations for using the box are the same as for using the repair skill. Where the repair is the first skill (and this is the majority of the equipment in the game), there the box will come in handy. And where we put repairs with 3-4 skills, there the box will not be particularly useful. Among these vehicles are LT and ST up to level 5, as well as all howitzer self-propelled guns. The reason lies in the fact that for tanks with a small margin of safety, stopping under fire due to the loss of a track, as a rule, leads to a quick death. The caterpillar simply does not have time to be repaired (both with and without a box) and it is more expedient to use a repair kit.

Verdict: Toolbox is a useful piece of equipment. Recommended for TT, ST and tank destroyers from level 5, whose crews are pumping repairs. Most useful for heavy tanks with a lot of HP. It is removed for free, so it can be useful as a temporary measure for tanks on which the necessary equipment has not yet been purchased.

Complex equipment

Rammer - reduces the loading (reloading) time of the gun by 10%. Not available for tanks with an automatic loader (drum), except for 59-16.

Improved ventilation - adds 5% to the level of mastery of the main specialty and additional skills of all crew members (does not affect skills). Not available for vehicles with an open deckhouse.

Reinforced aiming drives - increases the aiming speed by 10%.

Stabilizer of vertical movement - reduces the spread when moving and turning the tower by 20%.

Enlightened optics - adds 10% to the radius of view, but no more than 500 m. Exceeding this value increases the quality of view, that is, camouflaged enemies will be detected earlier. When used together with the Stereotube, the bonuses are not cumulative, the larger one is used (that is, the pipe works at rest, the optics is in motion).

Anti-splinter lining - increases the absorption of damage from explosions and ramming by 20, 25, 30 or 50%. The effect applies to the explosion of HE shells that did not pierce the armor or "covered" the tank.

Springs - increases the carrying capacity of the suspension by 10% and adds 30% to the strength of the suspension.

Wet ammo rack - increases the HP of the ammo rack by 50%. Thus, it becomes more difficult to damage it and, accordingly, blow it up.

Cyclone filter - increases engine durability by 50%. It makes no sense to put this equipment for joint use with a twisted speed regulator, since the latter removes not a fixed number of engine strength points, but a percentage of strength. Installed only on Soviet tanks.

Filling CO2 Tanks - Increases tank durability by 50%. Available only for tanks of 6-10 levels.

Additional lugs - increases permeability by 10% on soft soils and by 5% on medium soils.

If you play "World of Tanks", then it will hardly be a secret for you that having an expensive tank is not enough to succeed on the battlefield. You need to be able to properly develop your car, skillfully equip it, and also understand its advantages and disadvantages in order to fight, destroy opponents and stay alive. Each of the machines has its own strategies, which can be more or less successful. Naturally, everything also largely depends on the player himself - to control many tanks you need a lot of practice and skill. But still, without proper development, any tank, even in the most skillful hands, will be ineffective. For example, take the Soviet heavy tank IS-3, which is very popular with World of Tanks players. This vehicle has a fairly high speed and great firepower, but you can't even imagine what a threat it will pose if properly equipped. So, what equipment should you put on the IS-3 to make this tank look incredible?

Cannon

Already the initial weapon, with which the model is sold in the store, can please the novice tank enthusiast. Quite high armor penetration, good damage, high rate of fire - all this makes even the stock IS-3 a powerful tank. But what equipment should be installed on the IS-3 to make it even better? You can start by reducing the caliber to 100 millimeters, however, the D-10T cannon will increase the rate of fire, receive not the greatest spread, and most importantly, it will bring the aiming time on this tank to the possible minimum. But this is not the most optimal weapon, instead you can put the D-25T - here the rate of fire increases only slightly, but the damage and caliber do not fall so critically. But the best weapon for this tank is BL-9, this gun increases penetration, rate of fire, and also minimizes the spread of shells. So, everything is clear here - it's time to figure out further what equipment to install on the IS-3.

Tower selection

The tank's stock turret gives it only 175 millimeters of frontal armor. If you decide to leave it, then you will have to think hard about what equipment to put on the IS-3, since you will have to compensate for this thickness of armor with something. It is quite difficult to do this, so it is better to purchase an improved turret, in which the thickness of the armor will increase to 250 millimeters, and in addition, another twenty meters of the viewing radius will be added. However, the turret traverse speed drops slightly, but this is easier to compensate for than almost a full centimeter of armor. If you look at the original IS-3 tank, the photos will leave you impressed - it was a powerful machine that made enemies terrified. In the right hands in World of Tanks, the IS-3 also instills fear in opponents.

Should you change your engine?

The original IS-3 engine is also good enough, but it's worth replacing. With the new version, the engine power will increase by fifty horsepower, which will allow it to increase in speed. The IS-3 tank, the photo of which already makes you feel respect for it, is initially quite fast for a heavy model, but with a new engine it becomes even more dangerous. Moreover, the likelihood of a fire is reduced by three percent, and the weight of this motor is also fifty kilograms less. In World of Tanks, the IS-3 poses a threat in any outfit, but if you pump it correctly and as much as possible, then no one will be happy.

Installing a new undercarriage

The stock running gear bears the name of the tank itself, but it can be replaced with a new one, to the marking of which the letter M is added. But what does this give? Do I need to change? Not in the first place, but it is still necessary to change it, because in the game "World of Tanks" the IS-3 can boast of its agility. The new undercarriage will allow it to carry three tons more, which could have a positive effect on the outcome of any battle. Moreover, the vehicle becomes more agile, as its turning speed increases, which can also play an important role in combat. So far, a review of the IS-3 shows that it is becoming more and more intimidating at its maximum configuration. What will the change of radio give him?

Possible radios

The stock radio on the IS-3 is not particularly impressive - it only works at a distance of 440 meters. That is, if you are too far from your comrades, then the vaunted view of the IS-3 tank will not help you - noticed enemies will not appear on the radars of your comrades, and you will have to fight on your own. Therefore, it is very important that you change the radio to a higher quality model. At the ninth level, you can install a radio that will transmit a signal over 600 meters, and at the tenth level you will have a chance to maximize this aspect of your tank, since you will be presented with a model with a communication range equal to 730 meters. Then teamwork will be implemented at the highest level. World of Tanks is a game that requires interaction between comrades. And if you go into battle as a group of single tanks, then it will be much more difficult for you to win than if you fought in a close team in which the maximum understanding reigns.

Installation of additional equipment

As you know, each tank has three slots for installation. There you can put some useful objects that are useful in battle. Considering the fact that you need to focus on firepower at the head of the IS-3, you can choose a rather interesting kit. First of all, install the rammer, which increases the rate of fire of the gun, which is very important if you haven’t decided to stay on the D-10T cannon. Then be sure to use heavy-duty drives, as they guarantee accelerated convergence, which is one of the weakest points of your machine. Do not forget about ventilation, as the crew plays an important role in this car, and without ventilation it will not be as effective. Installing additional equipment is not a universal process, that is, it cannot be said that the above set is one hundred percent winning. You have to look at the circumstances, because equipment options abound and you will have a lot to choose from.

Tank advantages

So, the IS-3 is a model that can be used for both defense and attack, but it looks best in the role of high-speed support, preferably from the flanks. Among the main advantages that can be noted in this tank is the excellent booking, which you can make even better. Still, the most important thing is the power of the gun and high speed. Also, do not forget about the good agility of this tank, which gives it more freedom of action on the battlefield.

Disadvantages of the tank

However, it is worth saying. that the IS-3 also has certain drawbacks that have to be reckoned with. For example, many people complain about the low viewing range. The biggest problem with the IS-3 is, of course, the mixing speed. However, you can normalize this with the help of reinforced drives and experienced and skillful machine control. Otherwise, this tank is more than good, and with the right development it becomes an excellent attacking support force that any enemy has to reckon with. The IS-3 can impose a battle alone, but it looks best when there are more powerful tanks, as well as light models - in general, in a group offensive.

Every player in World of Tanks should remember that the strengths of a tank can and should be strengthened. Weaknesses, accordingly, need to be eradicated. Achieving technical balance in a car is possible with the help of the crew (their skills and abilities), gear and equipment.

The stock of the pocket does not pull

Having purchased the first tanks of level 2-3, purchase equipment. At least removable. These include: a camouflage net, a stereo tube, and a toolbox. They are transferred from vehicle to vehicle without the need for dismantling, which is paid for in gold. Therefore, you should not purchase a dozen camouflage nets or stereo pipes. A couple of copies are enough.

Camouflage net(MC) reduces the visibility of a stationary vehicle. The action is activated 3 seconds after stopping. MS adds: 15% invisibility for anti-tank self-propelled guns; 10% for light tanks (LT) and medium tanks; 5% for artillery and heavy tanks. MC is useful for covert and positional combat, inherent in tank destroyers, as well as for passive reconnaissance of LT. The MS weight is 100 kg and the price is 100,000 credits.

Stereoscopic telescope adds 25% to the view from a stationary vehicle (no more than 445 meters). It allows you to detect the enemy before he you. The first shot is an important advantage in the game. The stereo tube, like the MC, is suitable for playing tank destroyers or LT. It is also good in that it compensates for the lack of many tanks - a low viewing radius. It is a pity that the properties of this useful object cannot be combined with enlightened optics. Stereo tube weight - 50 kg, price - 500,000 credits.

Toolbox increases the speed of damage repair by 25%. Often it is installed while the crew's repair skill is being pumped, and then removed. The weight of the box is considerable - 100 kg, and the cost is even more so - 500,000.

Complex equipment

It is dismantled from the car only for 10 units of game gold or after destruction. For this reason, experienced tankers keep a handful of gold in reserve. In the name of economy, carefully consider the need for a particular module on your favorite tank. It's not rubber.

Springs are divided into many of the types listed in the Wot Wiki. Their main tasks are to increase the carrying capacity of the suspension and mitigate damage when falling, so springs are useful in two cases. First, they allow you to install a (heavier) cannon or turret if you don't have enough experience to research the chassis. Secondly, they insure a light and fast tank from heavy damage when falling from hills and hills. The cost of the springs ranges from 20,000 to 600,000 credits. Not to say that these are the most useful equipment in World of Tanks, but sometimes it makes sense to install them on a temporary basis.

Anti-splinter lining is another type of equipment that is not very popular. It increases the tank's protection against high-explosive artillery shells and reduces the risk of shell shock for crew members by 20/25/30/50%, depending on the type of lining. The cost ranges from 50,000 to 750,000. It is reasonable to buy such a thing only for massive machines, often suffering from accentuated artillery fire. Better save space for more useful accessories, though.

Improved ventilation(Class 1-3) Adds 5% to all crew skills. An excellent choice for those looking to gain an edge in battle. The equipment is not available only for machines with an open deckhouse. The cost jumps from 50,000 to 600,000 credits and the mass is 100/150/200 kilograms. Improved ventilation should be installed on any tank, regardless of play style. What for? Because the reload is faster, the visibility is better, and the movements are more maneuverable. Combined with the Combat Brotherhood skill, a commander's bonus and premium consumables, you can increase the vehicle's standard characteristics by 32%.

Wet ammo rack adds 50% durability to ... ammo rack. It's simple. Equipment that is not the most necessary in the game, but in isolated cases it can help.

Mailer there is a howitzer and a gun, dividing at the same time into medium and large calibers. It reduces the reload time of the gun by 10%. It is a pity that a useful device does not shine for tanks with drum loaders. The exceptions are: 59-16, Type 5 Chi-Ri and Spahpanzer SP I C. And also because these vehicles have an alternative cannon with standard reloading. The cost of the rammer ranges from 200,000 to 600,000 credits and should not be spared. Faster reloading - more shots - higher amount of damage - more serious contribution to victory.

Additional lugs in most cases, a waste of 250,000 credits. One of the most useless and rarely used equipment. Increases passability on soft and medium soils, but has severe restrictions on the type of equipment. The lugs are installed only on 12 cars, and then mostly German ones. Use the driver's skill "King of the Off-Road" instead.

Filling CO2 tanks adds 50% durability to tanks while also reducing the risk of fire. Becomes available at vehicle tier VI. The equipment shares the "honorable" place with lugs and the "Cyclone" filter as unnecessary. It is useful for those whose tank burns in every battle like a witch at the stake of the Inquisition. The rest are recommended to use the "Cleanliness and Order" skill.

Coated optics- A very useful item that adds 10% to the field of view and works in motion, unlike a stereo tube. It is possible to install optics on any tank. Blind machines need it for obvious reasons. "Vigilant" will raise the possibility of detecting the enemy to the absolute. Typically, optics are installed medium and light tanks, whose tasks include finding the enemy. It costs 500,000 credits.

Vertical Stabilizer Can be installed on Tier VIII-X light, medium and heavy tanks, as well as on some vehicles of lower rank. The module reduces the spread of the gun when moving and turning the turret, i.e. increases accuracy on the go. It costs between 500,000 and 600,000 credits. Its purchase is strictly recommended for fans of Soviet and American ST or TT.

Reinforced aiming drives- a necessary thing for any tanker. Tragically, most of the guns bring down slowly, and the drives reduce this disadvantage by 10%. For some cars, this equipment turns from a panacea into doping, increasing the already fast mixing to obscene speeds. It's not worth half a kingdom, but half a million for sure.

Cyclone filter increases engine durability by 50% with a limit on Soviet tanks and is infinitely far from the "Hot Selling" status. So he's not worth his 500,000 credits.

Summing up and giving advice

Not all equipment is equally useful and effective. The most important thing for the player is to find the perfect kit for a particular car, which will fully reveal its potential. Let's take, for example, a Tier X "American" without obvious drawbacks - T110E5. Good stabilization of the gun is complemented by a vertical traverse stabilizer. Fast reloading is accelerated by the gun rammer. Crew skills increase after installing improved ventilation. As a result, T110E5 becomes even more accurate, faster and more dangerous for the enemy. The Soviet Tier VIII heavyweight IS-3, on the other hand, has drawbacks. However, the slow convergence of the gun is neutralized by the aiming drives, poor shooting on the move - by the stabilizer, and slow reloading - by the large-caliber rammer.

Last tip: do not spend a huge amount of credits to buy modules, but try to wait for the festive promotions from Wargaming. Equipment discounts will allow you to replenish your own warehouse, significantly saving on purchases.

Well, here we are. Today, in our review of the game, we will talk about one of the types of tanks - self-propelled guns.

While in the game they came up with, or rather took from the history of combat, such types of tanks as: SPG(Self-propelled artillery installation), Fri-Sau, Easy, Average and Heavy... At first, I would like to tell you about the SPG.

SPG- people call this type of tanks simply “ Arta" or " Artillery". It is intended for aerial attacks on enemy tanks. That is the task of art from afar to inflict damage on opponents. In most cases speed artillery small, about 30 km / h. The only exception in terms of speed is American SPGs, at early levels they can go faster for light tanks.

Arta inflicts greatest damage among all types of tanks. The downside is that the reload time is very long, and the tank itself has little armor compared to heavy tanks.

ACS control quite simple - after pressing Shift, such a sight will appear, if you wait a little, it will decrease and it will be much easier to hit the opponent.

Tips:

- try to take good position... The outcome of your SPG game depends on this. Take into account that mountains, houses and stones will prevent you from shooting.

- if at the beginning of the battle you are spotted by a light tank of rivals, try as quickly as possible change position, since you are the most tidbit for the rivals' art: little armor and little by little you move. It is much easier to get into the SPG and there is a high probability that your vehicle will be killed on the first hit.

don't move... The highlight of the art is that it is difficult for enemy tanks to notice it. If the tank moves, this feature disappears, but if you stand still, the opponent will have to approach the SPG at least 50 meters in order to be exposed. Of course, you will not notice the opponent's tank either, but still play for time. "And time is money."

What equipment should I install? As you know, the equipment improves certain characteristics of the tank. Each type of tank has its own set. For self-propelled guns it is

Amplifier drive pickup... It will speed up the scope retraction by 10%, which will improve the hitting skill;

Gun rammer... Reduces reload time by 10%, which will be very effective for SPGs. Since there is a long recharge;

Camouflage net... It will increase the stealth of your tank, which in some cases can save your art from death.

Well, our review of the ACS has come to an end. In the next post, we'll talk about Light tanks... I would be glad to see your comments. Good game.

Due to its characteristics, Type 4 Heavy is considered the most formidable and powerful among classmates. In addition, in the slot that completes the branch of the development of Japanese heavyweights, there is a completely frightening unit that casts waves of horror on enemies in the random room. Therefore, the predecessor should be fully consistent with its older brother. In addition, in the latest update, the Japanese heavyweights were improved well, with improved armor and armament. Let's take a closer look at the updated Type 4 Heavy.

TYPE 4 HEAVY guide

Let's start with the fact that the ninth Japanese has a record-breaking safety factor in 2,050 units... The quite acceptable viewing radius of 390 meters also deserves attention: the value is not a reference, but it can be improved due to additional equipment and crew perks. A significant drawback that reduces the survivability of the vehicle is its bulky silhouette and low top speed. It is quite easy to hit the tank, and the low speed does not allow the vehicle to be quickly removed from the artillery fire.

Type 4 Heavy guns

Separately, it is worth considering the armament of the Japanese. Players are offered a choice of two guns, which have just phenomenal damage for the ninth level. It is worth noting that both guns are installed on the next tier 10 tank, which gives a certain charm and flavor.
Let's start with the basics. Basic armament is represented by a cannon 14 cm / 50 3rd Year Type, caliber 139.7 mm. This gun has been around for a long time, so many players know its mediocre rate of fire, but surprisingly good alpha. As a result, DPM is 1,800 damage per minute, which is definitely not the best indicator at the level.

With armor penetration, everything is pretty good: 249 millimeters provide the distribution of damage even to dozens, especially if you aim at vulnerable zones, and not just shoot at the silhouette of a tank. However, do not forget about gold, and load at least 10-15 of these shells, which will allow you to gain a sense of confidence in confronting heavily armored opponents. What else attracts attention in this weapon is UHN: The barrel is lowered 10 degrees for a comfortable playing in the clinch. This is where the advantages of the gun end, and players are faced with long mixing, frankly low accuracy and weak stabilization.
It took a long time to get used to shooting from such an extraordinary weapon, but the latest update patch changed the situation for the better. The tank was "presented" with additional armament, represented by a cannon 15 cm45 41st Year Type, caliber 152.4 mm. It is worth clarifying that this is a bomber that gives out simply crushing alpha in 1 000 units of one-time damage.

The gun is charged only with high-explosive shells: conventional and gold, respectively, has low armor penetration rates. However, even a shot at the silhouette of a tank removes 300-600 HP each. If you aim at a vulnerable zone or shoot at a "cardboard" French tank, the damage is simply fatal. As in the previous case, the destructive power is leveled by long mixing, huge spread and specific low accuracy.

The choice of weapon is left to the discretion of the player, but it is better to try out both barrels in the game and decide which one is more suitable for your game tactics. Taking into account the preference of the majority, we will continue to review the tank on the assumption that a high-explosive device is installed on the tank.

Type 4 Heavy penetration zone

The vehicle's survival rates in battle are not so straightforward. The frontal projection of the tank is protected quite powerfully. In the basic version, the turret and hull had reduced armor values of 250 mm, after the apa, the parameters increased significantly, increasing the thickness of the armor plates by a couple of tens of millimeters. Where to punch type 4 heavy is shown in the image and the most subtle zones are highlighted.
It is quite natural that frontal projection does not save Tier 10 vehicles from powerful guns, however, a slight hull turn, and even top PTs will have to be charged with gold in order to break through the formidable heavy.

A similar situation is developing with on-board armor: at right angles, the sides of the tank break through quite easily, but if you stand at a good angle, literally everything will ricochet. In addition, let's not forget about the side screens that successfully extinguish the destructive power of sub-caliber and cumulative projectiles.

What equipment to put on the Type 4 Heavy

To improve the comfort of the game, the equipment must be selected in such a way as to shade the key disadvantages. In our case, most of all complaints are caused by the accuracy of the tool and speed indicators. Therefore, it is recommended to choose an anti-splinter lining, a rammer and improved ventilation for the installation.
However, the option of choosing in favor of anti-fragmentation lining will give a slight advantage over artillery and other high-explosive fragmentation shells.

Perks for Type 4 Heavy

It's better for the crew to pump out skills that can increase the survivability of this bulky heavy heavy. Therefore, the recommended choice may be as follows:
If you consider the choice of equipment, you can load the tank with a large repair kit, a first aid kit and an automatic fire extinguisher. If things are not going well with loans, you can carry small-sized counterparts with you. By the way, the heavy burns very badly, so you can replace the fire extinguisher with a set of sushi.

How to play the Type 4 Heavy

So, we go into battle in the heaviest and most powerful tier 9 tank. However, if you choose the wrong tactics, the invincibility of the machine will turn out to be fiction. The sluggishness and bulkiness of the vehicle can play a cruel joke, and the tank will go to the hangar in the first minutes of the battle.

To begin with, the Type 4 Heavy is a single direction tank. Low speed will not allow you to return to the other flank, so we choose the route very carefully. Do not forget that a huge silhouette is a red rag for artillery, so there must be shelters in the chosen direction that will protect the tank from falling suitcases.
It is important to understand that excellent booking will help keep any flank with the support of allies. When squeezing out the enemy in the selected area, we cover vulnerable zones and systematically reduce the population of enemy vehicles in the square, realizing the full potential of weapons.

It is quite natural that having received such a powerful explosive device at its disposal, the tank simply cannot stand in one place. The car must play from the alpha: we leave, take a shot, roll back to CD or move forward.

Otherwise, the tactics of the game are the same for any heavyweight. We try to avoid open spaces and do not rush in splendid isolation. Remember that the arty projectiles go well and effectively into the roof of the tank, and the nimble fireflies and CTs will easily twist and disassemble the steel giant. Therefore, always keep an eye on the mini-map and react in a timely manner to any changes in the situation in battle.

Type 4 Heavy Opinions

We have already deduced the general characteristics of the car, it remains only to summarize the information. Therefore, we will bring the strengths and weaknesses of Type 4 Heavy into separate blocks.

Advantages:
Excellent performance of the reduced armor.
Record safety margin.
One-time damage.
Comfortable UVN.
Choice of weapons.
Flaws:
Bulky silhouette.
Low maneuverability.
Long reloading of the gun.
Poor accuracy.

This includes low armor penetration rates, however, given that the gun is loaded with high-explosive shells, this does not play a special role.
